You manage to find the hole. It’s a great big gaping hole, at least a quarter of a mile wide, going down into utter darkness.

Your athletics let you fly far enough to find it, and you’re perception let your search for it and find it.

Your survival however... means you are lost and have no clue where the group is compared to you
