Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"No, the Realm of Light...the ones that were getting too powerful, remember?" Eve says, sounding a little frustrated.

 

"Okay, but how'd we get from guardians back to the light things?"

 

“Let’s just relax, then.”

 

"What?" Eve asks, confused.

 

"Bah, forget it. I'm no robot, not gonna be able to keep up with this conversation."

She leans up against the wall, tilting her head up and letting out a sigh.
"Whatever happened, I can breathe better now."

 

"I...don't see why it's confusing to you. You don't have any mental disabilities, do you?" Eve asks.

 

"What's wrong?"

 

"Okay, look, I may have cybernetics, but none of them affect my brain. You're trying to explain how your reality works to a tribal creature."

He yawns again.

 

I continue blocking her sight.
“Take as long as you need.”

 

She nods between breaths.
"Is there... something I... shouldn't see?"

 

“I just don’t want you to throw up again. Usually people throw up when they see vomit, or something of the sort.”

 

"I'll be fine, I've watched several people get dismembered."

 

“And when it’s you?”

 

"Am I missing a limb or no?"

 

"I...guess I should have considered that too. Sorry." Eve says apologetically.

 

“No, but it’s still your insides.”

 

"I can't blame you. People think I'm a full Auto all the time." He shrugs.

"What did I cough up?"

 

"That sounds horrific." Eve says, shocked.

 

"Nah, it'd probably be better at this point. Neural implants would do me good." He sighs.

 

"But...then you wouldn't be you anymore. You wouldn't even exist anymore, you'd just be a coded robot designed to act like someone." Eve says.
