"....God damn it." Kayde muttered quietly."....those goddamn criminals....! I'll fucking kill them!" He stood up and turned to the window where the two had escaped out of.

"Wait." Roswaal called. "Where do you think you are gooooing?"

"Margrave, I can't thank you enough for letting us out of the prison." Kayde said, without turning back. "But——"

"They are currently running down the road to the left of Tilost river running towards the walls, heading to the direction of the slums." Roswaal said quickly, then closed one eye and gazed at the boy with her yellow eye. "I beliiieeeve you know where that is, former Guard."

".....Thank you." Kayde said, then dashed to the window, and leapt outside.

"Wait!" Rathius cried, but he was already gone.

"....Me too." Alice said in a low voice, as she too, stepped forward towards the window.

Carol stepped forward. "Lady Alice, you can't—"

"You can't stop her, knight." Dia said, floating behind Alice. He turned his yellow eyes at Roswaal. "Roswaal, what are you plotting?"

Roswaal lifted her hands in defence. "I'm not plotting aaaaanything, Great Spirit? I'm your utmost loyal supporter~."

The cat spirit glared at the woman for a moment, then turned back. "Let's go, Lis."

Wind surrounded Alice, before she turned and said to the rest, "I'm sorry everyone, that you're involved in this." And then she leapt outside, Dia trailing behind her swiftly. Roswaal sighed and shrugged.

"Thiiiis is a problem. Miss Carol and Mister Diabel, would you mind fooollowing them?"

 

"And what about us? Shouldn't we go after them aswell?!"

He walked over to the window.
"I could probably catch up to them if you'd let me go after them."

 

There's people around, yes?
Marcus moves towards the center of the cell, and at the same time, positions himself so that there are people in between him and the guards. Whether those people are standing, or on the ground, it doesn't matter.

 

"Think about it, Rathius." Diabel laid a hand on Rathius's shoulder, stopping him. "Even with the cloak, you're a wanted criminal. If you did anything out of ordinary, there's a risk of you getting found out."

"He's riiight, dragon boy." Roswaal said. "That human boy, Kayde, wouldn't be found out easily, because he is ooooutright ordinary." Roswaal seemed to stifle a smile as he said that. "Lady Alice's existence is known to the council of elders, though she is not publicly introduced. She aaaaalso does not have the risk of being arrested— and neither the two knights. Aaaany objections?"

Ok.

The guards seemed to hesitate, then the ranged weapon wielder started throwing more picks at Marcus. The other two with the chain and club started to go around the room to attack Marcus from the side. They seem hesitant to intentionally kill the people— but it seems that they would if the situation grew worse.

 

Marcus crouches slightly as he quickly makes his way towards the chain-wielder, making sure not to step on any people.

Is anyone else in the room standing?

 

"What do we do then? I'm pretty sure we shouldn't stay here drinking tea while they have something thats ours." I ask Roswaal, getting a neaby chair and looking at her
"I also don't like the idea of others doing stuff without me..." I mumble

 

"Fine.."

He moves away from the window.
"Where's Fanatia? I want to know if there is a room for me to stay in."

 

Nope, just you and the three guards.

The chain user spun his weapon around, and then slashed down at Marcus from the side.

Depending on what you do, he then will throw the other side at Marcus from the side in a quick swing.

Diabel looked at Roswaal. “Margrave, if I’m correct, do we let them go without us being noticed?”

Roswaal turned to the knight. “I’m impressed~. Yes, pleeeeaase do that. I will send the others to there.”

Diabel nodded; Carol seemed to grasp the situation, too and she nodded as well.

“I’m lost. What’s happening?” Jack asked.

“If we manage to catch them, that might prevent us from knowing their lair permanently. If they disappear from under Lady Roswaal’s radar before we catch up, we will have no idea where they had gone to, correct? Thus, it’s better to follow them to their lair and attack it altogether later. To keep track of them inside the lair, me and Knight Carol are fit for the job.” Diabel explained.

“We’re not Royal Knights for nothing.” Carol said. “Then; we will be off.”

The two knights leapt off the window; they could see the two of them running off extremely fast.

Roswaal turned to the rest. “We muuust prevent you from causing scenes in the public. So, we’ll attack their lair once you’ve got your weapons back. Understood~?”

 

"I understand, but I don't like it in the slightest."

"So what about us? Is there a place for us in this house where we can rest?"

 

"Understood" I walk back to the table and sit down

 

Marcus quickly backpedaled, then stuck the dagger back in his pelt in order to hold the stick like a lance.

 

I sigh and serve myself some tea "And when will we get it back? I thought you already had them" I ask, sipping on my tea

 

"I have my weapons." I conjure a dagger in my hand. "I could probably go with them right now."

Hello guys.

Recently I was discussing with @Paradoxical on his character, and that how it felt like he was underpowered, and wasn’t something para himself enjoyed playing. So, he’s introducing a new character while Tyrinel gets moved to NPC status.

If anyone else would like to do the same—please tell me now. The faster it is, easier it is for me.

“Hmm.” Roswaal faced James. “Thaaaat’s true. You’re an yeti, aaaaren’t you? Then there is a chance you can catch up.” She then raised a finger. “But we are attacking very soon. Either path you take will lead you to battle. I’ll let you decide, yeti boy~.”

“What about all of us, Margrave?” Tyrinel asked from the side.

The noble smiled. “Geeeet ready. Fanatia, pleeaase lead the way."

Fanatia led them downstairs; outside the residence. There, a plain-looking dragon carriage was parked to the side. From the driver's seat, a man wearing a black butler's suit slid off and bowed to them. He was a man that seemed to be on his twenties or thirties, with a lean charismatic face and wearing round glasses. His pupils were blood red. He raised his head and gave a small smile— revealing his two pointed fangs. (there're a lot of this recently...)

"Lady Roswaal. And dear guests, I am Karifer Devanshik, a servant under Mathers House. I am at your service." He stepped aside and opened up the carriage, revealing their weapons laying there.

 

"Another one?" He thinks to himself. He gives a look at the man.

He walks over to the carriage, and grabs what belongs to him.
"That's more like it. My sword, dagger, my lovely shield and my beautiful armor."
