I know my types quite well. Random fun fact: Surskit is Bug/Water type.

It was decent once I was able to evolve Purrloin and reach the desert route past Castelia City, where you can catch Sandile and Scraggy.

Yeah, I know types extremely well, having 90% of pokemon and move types memorized. However, if you randomize both, things get tricky.

 

I know most of it well, but I have occasional trouble (like how Electric and Steel interact with each other).

Wait, you randomized types? That must've made things difficult.

 

Sometimes I blank on type matchups as well.

That it does. Thankfully, I can sometimes figure out what types moves/pokemon are from the effectiveness of moves from my side or opposing ones.

The story behind it is that one guy on a discord I'm on started doing a Black 2 randomizer. Basically, some people, me included, got bored, and decided to randomize a game as much as possible and do a nuzlocke. To be fair, these are people who like difficulty enough to enjoy the XCOM series, which is saying a bit about their tastes in games considering XCOM makes FE14's Conquest look like a joke

 

Huh. I'd probably do something similar, so... Good idea.

Idea: Randomizing everything. Pokemon, types, moves, items, stats, TMs, trainer classes, graphics, literally everything.

 

But then you get
magicarp versus Mewtwo

 

Ah, yes, but the Magikarp has 171 base Attack and knows Crunch, except Crunch is now an Electric-type move with 28 base power, up against a Mewtwo who is using Counter. No, wait, Mewtwo has the Truant ability.

I see Ti'Lin as more of a special-based character. He uses a lot of potions, not swords.

 

There is no pokemon who uses potions ;( (I think)

 

Yeah, but I still see it as more special-based. I'm thinking that Meowstic is the best choice here.

 

I remember that Ti'Lin said he had a yellow fur, that's why I said Zeraora.
