In general, is Slider Or rainbow hive dagger better?

both are good. @Dr Zed You're forgetting builds that use another master hive item that'd complement slider.

 

Since Hive Dagger is getting a buff in the next patch, I'd say you get the Hive. Although you can use slider and spend the hive master token on something else.
Also you can always use Slider as a secondary because it has no requirements.

 

True, but since the question was barebones I gave a barebones answer. I’d personally not use Hive in a rainbow build, but that’s just me :-/

well it doesnt really matter what you chose in hive because you can always exchange it now so I would just get slider because it doesnt take a master voucher and is on the same level as hive if not better

 

Actually, Slider is better than Infused Hive Dagger when comparing non-critical damage.

Infused Hive does 1990 max damage spins (without armor or anything that affects it's damage other than the ids on the weapon itself.)
Slider deals 2455 max damage spins (without armor or anything that affects it's damage other than the ids on the weapon itself.)

Well, I guess the point with Slider is that you can't crit due to the -dex. You make your own conclusions from there on.
