    dfn is fine, 20 req in each stat is difficult to get in a non rainbow build
    prowess is a master hive too

    Dia Fusion has the requirements and doesn’t give any health
    You can also do LI infinitely on one class even pre-hive nerf so
    you know
    it’s possible to use with multiple LI things?

    Now prowess on the other hand
    That’s a Master Hive item
    It gives health, exact same sp amount, and has no requirements
    Thing is, you were never meant to use more than one master hive per class
    So I guess both Dia Fusion Neck and Prowess have every right for their stats

    The IM teams way they have been handling items I feel is very misguided. They have been nerfing a lot and have been getting rid of options and haven't been focusing on the fun factor of the game. Balance is great and everything but its no fun to have everything perfectly balanced. Let's say you had a fighting game where there was only one character and they can only do the same moves, it's perfectly balanced yes but it's not fun or interesting. Nerfing things should be reserved for extreme cases or if it will actually make the game more enjoyable. You got to remember that there is something called loss aversion which basically means that losing something (in this case something is nerfed) hurts twice as much as a buff to something. The thing is that an unbalanced game can be more fun than a balanced game.

    So you’re basically saying every item in the game should be brokenly overpowered, or a piece of shit? We already have those; the piece of shit items are the non-altar and dungeon items uniques(besides maybe a couple of them) and the overpowered ones are boss altar, dungeon, LI, and hive items. It wouldn’t be fun for every item to fall in one of the two categories

    I have a question, I know that in the future you wont be able to wear a Whitecap Crown and a Moon Pool Circlet simultaneously but what if you're going to wear 2 Moon Pool Circlets will the same rule apply?

    the problem is that in order to buff items, you'd need to buff basically EVERYTHING in order to balance it. And while yes, having some unbalance can make a game fun, if a meta is too unbalanced, as it is now, it removes the fun from the game, as most builds will end up having the same items for the most part, with little variation. This is essentially what's happening now; most builds either use multiple hive items or consciously avoid it. In other words, this is very much an extreme case, and nerfing is warranted. Also, the items themselves honestly seem to be moving in the opposite direction; Petrified Horror,Taurus and Steamjet Walkers, for example, all ended up with more extreme changes, and items like Follow the Wind, Dark Shroud, Kaze, and Virgo all got various buffs that make them more viable without changing what made them unique

    The fact is, we have been buffing items. Quite a bit actually. Catch is, nerfs are way more memorable, and tend to be documented (in places like this) whereas buffs tend to not be remembered. I don't have real numbers, but I think we have buffed at least as many items as we have nerfed

    Yep. If we buffed every item to the point where you request we do, mobs would also need to get stronger to compensate, given that the game is already rather easy given these builds. It's far easier to nerf things than to literally change the balance of the entire games to kowtow to a few broken pieces.

    Selvut (or anyone that knows the answer) will two hive rings of the same element be usable? And two hive items can still be used on the same build just not of the same element so mantle walkers and white cap (idk someone probs does) can be used in same build correct?

    You cannot use multiple items of the same division. Intensity cannot be used with another intensity as they are a master hive item. Same deal for Moon Pool Circlet and Coral Ring (both water), Breezehands (air), etc.

    However, you're free to use multiple of different division items together. An example would be something such as Whitecap Crown (water) and Boreal-Patterned Aegis (master).
