I wait for a few hours, then, right as the sun rises, slip off into a clearing to give my morning prayer and prepare my spells.

Yes, we do. Sleeping does that. Apparently we can have a giant stab wound in our kidney and sleeping causes it to heal fully.

Why both of these? They serve pretty much the same purpose, but Thunderwave is basically better.

 

Because it's Althaios. He's just playing his character.

 

I've thought about it for a while, and I think that the Alchemist is more of a battlefield control kind of class. They don't do much damage, but they have lots of abilities that influence the battlefield.

Also, I should buy some better weapons for Ti'Lin.

 

Next level you get to finish work on your mechanical companion, which just amplifies the battlefield control aspects by letting you set up things like flanks and corners.

As far as weapons, you don't get much as far as proficiency, but perhaps Spyro would allow you to rig up some trick weapons? You are supposed to be an inventor, after all.

I already have some ideas.
Such as

-knife on a rope/chain
-wrist knives(or just a way to hide knives on my wrists)
-sword that can be turned into an axe
-wrist fire jets
-little mechanical toy that does something for a bit then explodes
-fire mace (mace that has holes that can shoot flame jets)
