Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"No, it's fine." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"I feel like I'm walking on thin ice, you sure?"

 

"Just try not to be a dick." Shadow Stephanie says bluntly.

 

Pozel sighs, heading over to whatever group is close by and working on something.

 

It seems to be an air guardian testing wiring to see how well it holds up when charged with a lot of electricity and twisted in awkward positions.

 

“Let’s go, then.”
I head out of the room and wait for the Matriarch to follow.

 

He heads back to Shadow Stephanie.
"Do you guys look much into nanotech?"

 

"Yeah, it's a part of Eve." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

She does, silent.

"Where are those engineers?"

 

"I think they might have left after Eve was finished," Shadow Stephanie shrugs, "They were paid a lot."

 

"Oh, I saw someone working on a flexible wire and was going to suggest trying a nanoweave of gold between a graphene chain. I think that's what we use for lights on arkships."

 

"I'd think they need to transmit more power than what's required for a light emitting diode." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"I dunno, ask Idhaenna to tell you what the mechs use. I'm ready to see Eve, if you're still willing to let me look at your completed project."

 

"Do you know anything about Gram's state?"

 

Shadow Stephanie heads to a metal door at the far end of the room, putting her hand on a scanner before the door opens.

 

Pozel stays behind Shadow Stephanie, trying to stay respectful.

"I haven't talked to Rema lately, but I could ask her come midnight."

 

Eve seems to be inside the first room drawing at her desk, looking up when Shadow Stephanie enters.

"Oh, hello Stephanie. I wasn't expecting a meeting, you didn't plan one," Eve says happily, "Who's that behind you?"

 

"Uh.. rather not while I'm trying to sleep. Maybe in the morning. Although, I don't think the dragons will like it."

 

Pozel steps out from being just about directly behind Shadow Stephanie.
"Autozakretian P02-31868, but I prefer Pozel. Idhaenna invited me to come here as a gift of sorts for Shadow Stephanie's aid. Plus, I wanted to get out of my home system. Magic is totally new to me."

"I wouldn't be waking you up, I'd tell you in the morning."

 

"Yeah that works for me."

"If you could do that, I would appreciate it."
