I would say you should toss a gradient brush or just random block variation patterns onto the stone itself

Voxel Gradient would be what I recommend but even a world edit replace would be nice

I like what your doing with the dark shading, but I think it's a bit toooo pronounced
Perhaps use gray instead?
[Im assuming this is 1.12 concrete, I cant tell tho since its so dark]

 

meh, honestly you still needs to use more of that (/be lift) to really create that sharp shape but otherwise good improvement (ᵔᴥᵔ)
