Tridents And Their Enchantments

ok so this is more of like a question

Tridents are a new weapon that can be thrown and used in melee

the trident has a few enchantments, here's a list of them and descriptions of the one I know

Loyalty: Boomerang effect, you don't have to pick it up it comes back to you after striking the target
Impaling: Sharpness for tridents? no idea
Riptide: I think if you throw this underwater you can boost yourself the in the direction you threw the trident, not sure tho.
Channeling: I have no idea help me on this one

Could anyone confirm for me what the impaling riptide and channeling do?

 

Here ya go (according to the Official Minecraft Wiki)

Riptide: Will launch the player in the direction where the trident is thrown. Higher levels launch the player further. Players can use this to get up to higher heights, as when a trident enchanted with Riptide is thrown in the air, the player will be launched upwards. This enchantment will only work in water or if it's raining.

Chanelling: Summons a lightning bolt when a mob is hit, if there is currently a thunderstormm going on. The mob must be exposed to the open sky in order for the enchantment to work, and must be in a biome where it rains or snows. This means that this enchantment does not work in hot/dry biomes.

Impaling: Deals more damage to mobs that live in the ocean, such as guardians.

Loyalty: When a player throws a trident, this enchantment will cause the trident to return back to the player who threw it, after it comes in contact with any block or entity. Higher enchantments will cause it to come back faster.
