"I honestly can't tell if Aj and Artemis are just going to be indefinite boyfriend and girlfriend or are actually going to tie the knot at some point." Shadow Stephanie shrugs.

 

"Maybe if I just wait around, someone will appear? Or.. maybe if I focus."

He focuses on the name 'Anne'.

 

"I might ask him about that, too. Am I going to need to pay up every time I want to step through the palace gates and get to your portal room, or should I just open portals all willy-nilly wherever's convenient for me?"

Your mind wanders to a bluff, and the wedding, but Anne never shows up.

 

"Seven fifity gold each entrance and you're good." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"Raagh!!"
He's getting annoyed due to the fact that he has no idea what's going on.

 

"Ugh, I'll just open portals outside. Not like I'll be able to get a job here... Whatever. Thanks for the talk, and my apologies for finding what makes you tick. If it's any consolation..."
She tosses a single white rose at Shadow Stephanie's feet.
"If you are ready to tie the knot, let him know. I won't be too offended if you don't let me officiate."

Your voice echoes eerily throughout the forest.

You now hear something move, but only for a bit.

 

"What? You think me and him are a thing?" Shadow Stephanie asks, picking up the rose.

 

"Aj, no. The Wanderer, you're starting to warm his cold heart. If you told me you weren't a thing, I'd laugh at you."

 

"Oh yeah, I've been so busy I haven't spared any time to think of him..." Shadow Stephanie says, looking at the rose.

 

"If I thought Aj and you were a thing, I may as well just sell mysef out to prostitution like every other succubus that isn't worth her charm."

 

Shadow Stephanie just gives a confused look, unsure how to respond.

 

Rose sighs.
"Man, you poked fun at me for spurring inappropriate fantasies, then a prostitution joke goes right over your head? Well, can't say I didn't try."
Pause.
"...Seriously, though, reach out to me when you're gonna tie the knot. I've got contacts everywhere."

 

"I got it, it was just bad." Shadow Stephanie says flatly.

 

"Yeah, yeah. I'll just stick to vows." She chuckles. "Anyhow, I'm going to go see how fast the people on this Earth think they can soil my dress. On a side note, does it look good? I was going for an over the top look that hid my battle scars."

 

"Eeeh, try not to go too far over the top. You're at the edge of the high point of not looking like a whore." Shadow Stephanie says, tilting her hand back and forth from a flat pose.

 

Rose winks.
"Good enough for now. I'll tone down the gold accents and replace the frilled sleeve cuffs with the pulse ring sleeves next time. Thanks." She says, starting to walk to the exit of the throne room.

 

"It never hurts to try. Now, where is the Geneson kingdom located?"

 

"It-"
"Nope, you're not going there. You can't take it all in over such a short time. You get to let this sink in." Reiglynn snaps.

 

*gasps for air*
"Well let's go. The less time down here the better."
