There is absolutely no way this is viable with cata. The minimum negative hp is 3000...

 

than adjust it to your needs :) The build is for thrundra, but cata can work thou

you don't understand, the point of making the build thread is to have options laid out for the player, not the player hunting for just the right items to use. As far as the build's viability is concerned, the hp is really low, and you somehow managed to drop the average damage of a cataclysm below 9k. Low damage, low hp, decent defenses, but still some negatives, and only 5 mana regen. I'd give that a C- overall. 3 or 4 / 10

Everyone has to start by being told their build is wrong until they have a version that is good. That's how I figured it out myself. Then the other parts of class building like mana and building with other classes came naturally over time.

 

Its a thunder build, of course hp is going to be low, cant expact every class to have 500 def and 15k hp. also typical thunder builds have low mana regen or none at all. I use this build and currently i can pretty much solo LI with this build -.-

Uh no? Typical thunder builds have mana regen for casting spells, as well as at least DECENT defence. Youve soloed li with this build? Thats incredible, either you have skill or its a lie. Here is an example build of what a cata build might look like:

The thing you need to understand about cata is that it already deals enough damage, therefore you need something to counteract with the massive loss of life that is the backfire of cataclysm.

Well i dont have cata, so I need the dmg and I havent found a thunder build with good mana regen, and yes i can solo.

they don't fix any of the build's problems. You can suggest things, but if they don't actually solve the build's problems, then it isn't worth suggesting them.
Also, what Blaze said is pretty much all true:

Only thing I have to add is cataclysm is really hard to make a well rounded build with, and a tough weapon to start your class building. I suggest trying a few others and coming back to cata.

 

um no. I dont want to go through all that. I know i can solo and my word is right, believe it or not, i dont care

Also that build has double hive which Im not a fan of.

Differences between yours and my build;
My build isnt as skillpoint tight, meaning people most likely dont have to worry too much about ids.

My build is tankier than yours, both in defences, health and slightly health regen

My build does around the same damage as yours, which does more, but not significantly different, despite my build being more tanky.

Your build has double the walkspeed doe, which i really like because walkspeed is always fun xD

I have more skillpoint spread in the sense that casting spells will be significantly cheaper. (68 intel vs 100 intel) as well as double your mana regen (10/4).

Idk maybe try this build?

Edit: you can sub in vaward for SPs, and HP goes up to almost 9k

 

Dosent seem bad, i have all the items except another diamond static ring.

I tried tbh, but the skillpoints will require you to sacrifice things, plus it decreases alot of defences, so i stuck with memento
