Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Have you ever been attacked?"

Erevne and Reiglynn glance at each other.
"That... is something that I'd need time to arrange." Erevne says.
"You'd probably be attacked on sight, war is fresh on their minds."

"Right... guess I'm getting ahead of myself again." Anne sighs. "Sorry. You know I get impatient."

 

"Yeah you do." He gives a teasing smile.
"But I like that about you."

 

Same thing as before, the crate is sealed shut.

Terrae decides to wait for rush hour to end.

 

"Yes, though none have managed to seriously harm me." Gaia says.

 

She seems about to make a remark, then smiles.
"Something tells me it won't take long before we need a break from each other once we get married."

Ren tries to sneak another peek.

It's sort of bizarre; it goes from disgustingly crowded to fairly quiet in a 20 minute span.

"Did you punish those who lashed out at you?"

 

"Of course." Gaia says.

 

"Well, thanks for letting me visit. Your children certainly are a diverse bunch."

 

"It's nice to hear from you again!" Gaia responds happily.

 

"We've spend a lot of time together now. I understand if you want some time alone."

 

"Don't care about appearances."

 

"Oh, thanks! I better give my adviser a break, though, she seems on the verge of a flower-induced mutiny."

"Okay, then... get in the mop receptacle."

"Well, not yet. We haven't had all that much time together yet."

 

"So you do enjoy spending time with me?" He chuckles, sticking out his tongue.

 

I get in the mop receptacle.

 

"If I didn't, why would I marry you? There's less smelly, more wealthy, less busy people."

It smells strongly of cleaning fluids, and you get a dry mop tossed on top of you before the janitor starts carting you off.

A few minutes later, the bumpy ride feels like it's never going to end.

 

Gaia laughs, before cutting the connection.

 

"Oh shut it. I know I smell. There aren't a lot of good ponds or hotsprings around here, is my excuse."

 

I can't get dirty/stained on the spirit plane can I?

 

"Nothing about these mountains smells good." Tuer comments.

No, you can't. That's fortunate, because the occasional bit of dirty water gets kicked up onto you.

Things are fairly silent, except for Xlentia poking her head into the shadow realm for a few seconds and then leaving.

 

The guards glance at Xlentia, though they don't do much else.

 

"Thank god. I'm not the only one that smells." He jokingly says while looking outside the cave, and then inside.
