Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Then who's are you? And why are you giving everyone flowers?" The human asks.

 

"Again, don't think about it too hard. As for why I'm giving everyone flowers, does it really matter? You're probably going to just laugh at anything I say anyways." She shrugs.

 

"Don't yoy think that would be to close to the water?"

 

"Well, a lot of people are curious about a strange person flying around giving people flowers." The human says.

 

"Oh, okay. A few millennia ago, I became fascinated by the mortal concept of celebrating birthdays. They seemed so pointless at first, but then I thought it was nice that people celebrated being alive. I decided that today was a nice time of year to celebrate, but since I'm a goddess and it's hard to get me gifts, I give others gifts. Besides, it's nice as a parent to see children content and or grateful, even if for just a moment." She explains.

"I don't but it's called compromising. Apparently couples do that a lot."

 

"Well, you heard it here first folks. This incarnation of Gaia is just celebrating her birthday." The human says, turning the camera around so they're in shot.

 

Gaia gets off her staff and flies out of the helicopter, going down and getting Miorah to sit up.

 

The human films Gaia as she flies out, the helicopter pilot trying to get a good view.

 

"Look, this is the first time I'm in a relationship. Just.. bare with me, okay?"

 

Soon after, both are surrounded by a ring of green light and disappear, a flower growing in the ground where they were.

"You think I've done this before? I'm trying to be patient."

 

The helicopter soon flies away, the flower being left intact.

 

"I'm trying too. I just don't know how to deal with some things. I still want to live how I used to, if you understand."

 

Gaia links with her counterpart again.
"I think some humans still believe in you. I think I was interviewed."

"Yeah, I get it... it's just hard, given the recent everything that's been happening." She nervously laughs.

 

"I find it funny some don't believe in their creator. I believe they attributed us to one 'god' who created everything. Sometimes I like to disprove them." Gaia says happily.

 

"I think that's smart. The nonbelievers can be a handful, can't they?"

 

"Alright..."

 

"Now, one more question before we take off... how badly do you want out of here? If you don't care about appearances, I can hide you in a cart of cleaning supplies and nobody'll be able to get suspicious that you might be following me. If you do... well, you'd have to do a bit of sneaking around on your own."

 

"Occasionally." Gaia says.

 

"Let's just forget about it for now, okay? We know what we want to do and we'll do it once we get the chance."

 

"I hope that whenever it comes, we can be ready for it."

I relax in the chair

"Now, would you mind taking me to this new Genesian kingdom?"
