Mage/Dark Wizard Help Criticize My Spell/ Mana Regen Build

    I'm not that good when it comes to making builds.

    btw if you have some experience in making builds, please make me a spell/ mana regen build with no li and no mythics.

    10 mr at most.
    And all that elemental damage will fall to the resistances of Qira or other things.
    Trust me, better to deal a TON of damage on one element than a bit of everything, because even if enemies have defence to it, the overwhelming damage will penetrate it. But if only a little bit of damage is dealt on all elements, elemental defences will make like 90% of the damage disappear.

    I like to always take a neutral damage weapon, just in case. Especially with my dual intel/dex warrior, even though it probably could do pretty well against Qira with just water and thunder dam xd

    Point is; rainbow is fine, just make sure you take a secondary neutral or full single-element weapon and you'll be fine against most things in the game c:

    raw spell manablast works fine
    you get like 5.5k meteors all neutral

    shit defense and damage
    too much emphasis on mr but I guess thats the whole point of the build
    not viable for actual combat

    not 10mr at most. its 10mr at most for normie builds, If your using lament/nirvana/idol/spring having 14+ is helpful hence it being a spellspam build not a spell wait spell again build

    Let me explain in a way you understand. IN ADITTION TO THE 8/4 MR, YOU RECIVE 1 MANA EVERY SECEND. With 129 int meteor costs 2 mana. That means you can cast meteor once every 2 secends. Of course the spell cost inceraces, but healspam and ice snake spam reset it. This means you recive 12 mana every 4 secends. Due to spamming ice snake, heal and meteor at the same time, costs don't change. This means YOU CAN CAST, IN THEORY, 6 SPELLS IN 4 SECENDS WITH 129 INT AND 8/4.

    how many spells are you casting per second? I'm always casting enough to use most of my mana, although I have 8/4 and ~85 intelligence.

    There's quite a significant difference between 85 intelligence and 130 intelligence. At the max mana cap for mage spells you really only require around 8/4s mana to chain spells infinitely. (Mages also can't fully spam their main damage spell as a result of the meteor cooldown time) But at 85 intelligence spells are essentially double the cost of 130, causing you to run out mana even with the same 8/4s.

    I understand that, and use the mana table on wynndata all the time, but I've used my 7/4 aqua plus other mana items in a different build before, I just don't remember exactly how close I was to running out of mana when spamming. Knowing how many spells per second someone is doing will help me analyze further how much mana regen/steal they should have. I think I cast 5 spells in two seconds when I'm going kinda fast.
