Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"'Till death do us part." She smiles.

 

They're hard to see until Shadow Stephanie gets over a large hill of sand, though they're all dressed in swimming or light clothing, a lot of people swimming in the ocean while some play on the beach. Most notably, they're all human.

Shadow Stephanie heads down halfway to the shore, before quickly summoning a wooden lounge chair and setting it up, burying her umbrella in the sand and relaxing on her chair. Katie heads closer to the shore and starts digging at the sand with her hands.

 

"Hey, we aren't married just yet. So those vows don't count."

 

Spring continues to sit on her umbrella perch, keeping an eye on Katie.

"They're just not official yet."

 

"You can see it like that if you want."

 

Katie just keeps digging her hole, piling up the sand as she tries to expand it.

 

"Well, I just don't think it needs to be official if that's how I feel."

Spring opts to hop off the umbrella and head into the water, trying to keep some distance between her and other beachgoers.

 

"Ofcourse not. No point in marrying if you don't already swear to stay with each other."

 

Anne smiles.
"Don't lose yourself in that bundle of fur, Bardock."

Does she actually think I'm making you lose your humanity? Offensive.

 

He just smiles at her.
"Don't worry. I've told you many times that I know how to handle myself."

 

It's hard to gain much distance, though Spring finds a calm area where nobody disturbs her.

 

"Doesn't mean I won't keep worrying."

She dives underwater, keeping an eye on anyone swimming from below.

 

There are a few people diving under the surface, and further into the ocean there are scuba divers. A few fish swim about, as well as a crab scuttling away from shore.

 

Spring looks for anyone looking or moving towards her intentionally, a bit nervous.

 

Nobody seems to have spotted her, though she notices something shiny buried in the sand near a few people.

 

"Yeah, a wife tends to do that."

 

"All of this is interesting. You'd think it'd have some sort of impact on this planet besides key figures of the war retreating here."

 

"Nevermind." I go and leave the room.

 

She uses a small current to gently push the sand off it, curious.

You step out just in time to see a guard turn a corner and head out of sight.
The hallway splits both ahead and behind you, and there are dozens of doorways.

"Geneson has no idea the war's going on, actually."
"The only thing it's done so far is made Ragnyon reach out to you."

"Wh- oh, you..." She groans, smiling.

 

He laughs out loud.
"I'm just kidding. haha."
