He then scolds the rats in Celestial.

 

The rats are crushed to death.

Everyone gets 20 EXP.

Should I make another death save?

No. Natural 20s on death saves in Kaelar only give 2 successes.

Anyway, you're at 3 successes. Liun seems to have stopped the immediate wounds, although he's still unconscious.

 

Like, sorry for being bitchy with your rules, but I don’t see why a nat 20 doesn’t get youback up with 1 hp. Sorta takes away the glory of getting a nat 20 on a death save.

 

It's hilarious seeing us get picked off one by one by a supposedly easy and on-level challenge.
It's like the perfect party imbalance.

If one of our characters dies early on, or somebody joins, it's basically mandatory that they have to be a cleric at this point.

Well imma join but I'll be a warlock. At lv3 I'll get the spare the dying cantrip though so I can stabilize anyone that gets poked with sharp things too much :p

It should be balanced with Natural 1s, IMO. If we use that, then I'll make Natural 1 mean that you instantly die and can't be resurrected.

On-level? This is literally CR 1/4. The spiders were tough for your level, though.

I actually have an idea. You may or may not see a useful magic item for that in the future.

You can certainly try. Are you going to take it with Knaal and Erevan?
