We already know what style of blocks inside this area. There is one secret Discovery named "Mining Operation" in game and 2 forum posts with pictures of Road To Dern that have been taken by unloaded chuncks

But like once a month someone posts about that sign without checking to see if someone's seen it before.

 

As the map maintainer, I can confirm that areas related to future releases do not have their icons updated before the release itself. In fact, these icons haven't been updated in a long time (before my time as Web developer), and those were probably manually added as test icons and never removed.

Aaron said that they were automatic, they are in-fact not automatic as of this time.
