Dvz's Last Year Of Life

remember that minigame of dwarves fighting endless hordes of zombies? with heroes, custom weapons and more stuff?
yeah, someone created a thread about it here like one year ago, and i would like to post this there but necro post exists

so yeah, dvz is closing at the end of the year, so for those who might want to play one last game of the minigame before it closes... you have one year to do so

and this kinda saddens me, considering i played nonstop rounds of this minigame in 2016, also played a lot in the PMC version, so im just doing this because i know lots of people here played dvz and im pretty sure some might be interested on this new

Yeah i remember that.. I thought that was dead already tbh. Also thought anyone else from the wynn community would know anything about it. First knew about it from Old Man Willakers himself

 

it isnt really dead, i mean yeah the playerbase dropped like a 600km meteor into earth, but there is still a group of around 40 people who keep coming back, including myself sometimes
in fact, they have created a discord server for the remaining dvz players (thats the one server i got these news from) and sometimes we call people from there log in and play if there isnt people
so... yeah, this is a sad year already for me

well you can try logging in, there are still 5-25 people games happening sometimes
in fact yesterday we almost reached 2 heroes
weekends are when the playerbase grows up back a bit

 

It was awesome to play with rawb during their livestreams back in 2013, despite the one I was in being very short lol. They live on through Urealms now.

Shoot, I remember being engaged in this game, sad to see it go. Though I know it's community has always been hounding Rob and the others for the longest time. At least it was fun while it lasted.

Wait- just checking, is this the one on the Ubermc server? I used to play a similar-sounding game on mineplex called castle seige- it was around the same kind of game? But the game is pretty dead now and the servers are all at 0/100 :/

I'd love to check out DvZ, tho, before it is ded D:

 

its the one on BuffaloWizards
ubermc one is shit, lich's one is decent but feels empty, and castle siege... it is similar, but dvz is way more complex

 

are we gona organize 1 big dvz event any time soon?

 

well, there is this dvz hypesqua on discord made by the community, its pretty nice and when there is close to 10 players, we usually just spam there "get in and halp start da game my dudes"
but yee maybe not, i only know dvz has limit time now, and weekends usually make the playerbase grow up to 25-60 players, if you wanna see big games, join on weekends
