Media Community Thoughts About Li Accessories

I'd just like to pose a question for you guys:
What do you think about the Legendary Island accessories?
Does any need a change (buff, nerf, rework [extremely unlikely])?

I'm just interested in the community's thoughts about these items as a whole and/or about specific items. Please do post any feedback.

 

buff rings

 

I mean diamond Hydro necklace can easily be replaced by Stormy, not saying either needs a buff or nerf
dont have many other thoughts, as i barely get to use LI items since im trash and my builds are trash :/

LI steam, fiber and (most of the time)static rings are all completely useless,


LI steam is a pretty much downgrade from Raging Wind, Ghost (only 5% air damage? ?? )

LI fiber is a downgrade of Giant's ring, Stonehall

LI static isn't that great because of its very high -hp, for only 10% thunder damage
even Gloomstone gives more damage


LI solar rings arent that great either but i think its fine atm



gold and silver static necklace are super useless

all LI hydro accessories are very nice

aight lets take a look here

first off, silver and gold static necklace is absolute shit, as well as the static rings. meanwhile, the bracelets are borderline overpowered.

secondly, a lot of the fiber stuff is also bad. the bracelets are good, but there are much better substitutes for the necklace and ring.

third, the steam rings should be buffed. there is absolutely no reason for a level 87 RARE ring to be more powerful than the diamond steam ring.

lastly, nerf the diamond fusion ring, it has way too much HP for what it has in defenses and damage.

hopefully i covered it all.

 

yea, i agree(for the dia fusion ring)

its pretty good

 

hydro ring needs 2/4 mr on diamond and 2/4 steal on gold.
solar rings shouldn't have -spell and -melee. It does nothing to seriously effect the rings, and is easily overcome in the end.
static rings no one ever uses. They are trash. there are rings with better hp and defenses and damage at lower levels.
steam rings. actually I think these are fine. maybe no -hp? really 180 isn't that much and only serves to annoy rather than hinder.
fusion rings are too good. no reflection or thorns? they don't do a lot and that isn't really the goal of fusion anyways. Maybe 10% spell 10% melee and 700 hp with no thorns or reflection?
onto necklaces
dfn is fine. honestly that -ele def was needed to balance it out. It needs +5 all to be worth picking over gigabyte, and maybe +5 more all to the requis?
solar neck is trash. has less hp than a ring?! that is just sad. Also, no fire def%. Seriously, the rings and other armor are already packing enough of that. 8% fire dmg -> 10%?
diamond static. fine IMO
hydro neck. what this guy said:

diamond steam needs more dmg%. Air builds just don't do enough damage rn. give them the necklace they deserve!
onto braces
solar brace is great!
fusion brace is trash. nebulous is better.
hydro brace is great too. makes sense to have it on any builds with lots of intel.
static brace is fantastic too. Maybe +1 tier on that one too? would be a nice addition.
diamond fiber...
OH SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT FIBER!! They're all fine. Maybe no 75 hp on the brace. That's my opinion on diamond LI items. I might also do one of these for the other tiers, but diamond is the most important IMO.

 

I agree with everything you and @LarzLapiz said, except for the fiber necklace. Do you know another necklace that gives more than 12 strength? Because I don't

no giant's ring is definately worse... only by a little. I can agree with it needing a buff.

no but a lot of other accessories have +str for a whole lot less requis.

ok first please dont give dia hydro ring 2/4 mr
the only rings with 2/4 have high drawbacks because of how good it is
gold has 1/4 mr so why add steal

dia steam rings have 5% air damage and -100something health, i think it needs more than that
raging wind has +200 remember

you cant just say "fusion rings are too good" then buff it
lower its hp, thats all i would do

i think dia solar neck is pretty bad now that i look at it
but i dont think +2% fire damage is enough


i think fusion brace is fine, it just gives elem def and lots of it

please dont give static brace +1 tier, its already very nice

giant's ring has almost double damage, health, much lower req at the cost of 2 sp and 1% ws

 

I did a search on wynndata, and the only necklace that had more than 5 strength that wasn't a li item was Shatterglass. Shatterglass, as the name suggests, is a glassy item. shatterglass has less earth damage than fiber as well, considering that dia fiber has no negatives, other than skill point requirement.

Not to mention that the 12 strength is great when using Alkatraz and/or Warchief, which both require 120 strength. Shatterglass can have 7 strength, and a 5 strength difference is a lot

the rings are bad, I'll agree. The neck has a lot of SPs as @Dr Alphys pointed out, but it still doesn't help that much. Only 3 items in the game require that many Sps after 100, warchief, alka, and archer alka. still all of the fiber items aren't great or much better than other items. Very over shadowed by giant's ring and jiandan handwraps. Momentum was nice too.

well for +tier earth melee just the brace's damage is good, not only the sp

necklace i mostly use for alka/warchief yea

btw dia fusion brace gives +60 all elem def with +12% (or 24%? cant remember) elem def in each element
nebulous only gives +20

 

Well, Dia Earth Ring has the best raw melee and melee %, which are really good if used in a build with good attack speed, or a build that is based on Quake. It could be used in builds that are Earth/?? hybrids, because it buffs any damage, not only earth. Exploding is nice too.

 

it has 100 str req so you're pretty much only gonna use it for earth builds
30 raw melee is super useless too, especially with that 100str req
if your main damage is earth, which it will be 99% of the time, giant's ring works much better

 

They're meant to build up to the diamond version. There's no real way to fairly build up to attack speed on a necklace.

Melee only item. Earth is almost exclusively melee based, so that's the reason for it.
