Does Loot Bonus Stat Work On Chests?

Just a thought and rumor I have always heard, I think its bullshit but I'm curious.

No I mean if your armor has +21% it gives you +20.75% bonus according to

I suggest having both the text log and this page open. Then refer to the % I am referencing in each new stage to understand what I am saying. This is just a note to help readers gain a frame of reference.

The first 20 LB% on armor = 20% actual LB. After that there are diminishing returns. After 20%, every +1% of extra loot bonus = 3/4 of a %, hence 20.75%. At 40% LB the rate of diminishing returns increases again (decrease in actual loot bonus). After 40% (35% actual LB), every +1% of extra loot bonus = 1/2 of a %, hence 41% = 35.50%. Then at 60% LB that changes once more. After 60% (45% actual LB), every +1% of extra loot bonus = 1/4 of a %, hence 61% = 45.25%. Then at 80% LB that changes once more. After 80% (50% actual LB), every +1% of extra loot bonus = 1/5 of a %, hence 81% = 50.20%. However, that is the last set of the diminishing returns. To answer any other questions this might bring up:

How do I know what my actual loot bonus is in-game?
On the compass find your loot bonus stat. Then find that number on the text log. The number that equals on the right side is your actual loot bonus.

What LB do you suggest I try and get?
I highly suggest that any loot builds get at least 80% LB (50% actual) so that you are getting 50% more loot (obviously). It is also quite easy to get even with very powerful gear. Items like trench scourer, which are high MS, and also have great LB. Try putting those items together when making a Loot Running LB build. LB is key, but diminishing returns beyond 80% will eat your mobility/effectiveness.

Is Loot Bonus worth using anymore?
YES YES YES. It will make a huge difference in loot chests! a 330% LB player will get double the loot of a regular player from every chest. That's crazy good. basically opening a TIV chest with 330% is the same as opening that chest twice, BUT WITH NO WAIT TIME! That's really good!

How does loot bonus effect mobs?
we don't know yet. Refer to my thread HERE on any updates on what LB does to mobs. I've been bumping it until someone with the maths give the wynn community an answer ;). I've grown tired of waiting to know exactly how LB works. We still don't know how some other stats like life steal and mana steal work either. Other threads should be made for those.
