"Why would they harmonie your children? They aren't even dragons."

"Well.. one is, but he didn't want to stay anyways."

 

"No, but most generally don't. They ask for something to be made and when it's made, we offer a price for it. If they accept, we make money. If they deny, we sell them to someone else." Vexa explains.

 

"Why is not my concern. Whether they do or not, is."

 

"Yes. But if they have no reason too, then they won't hurt them."

 

"Okay then... what end of the wealth spectrum did you think they were? I don't want to burn eighty ingots per boomerang if it's not going to be worth the investment."

"Creatures do many things without reason. Bring them in before I change my mind."

 

"Okay."
He quickly goes outside and heads to the centaurs and the dragon.

 

“You normally eat like that?”
I half-jeer, half-question, just loud enough for her to hear.

 

They're still down in the snow cave.
"She smells us." The dragon comments.

 

"Middle class." Vexa says, shrugging.

Shadow Stephanie glances back at you, blood dripping from her jaws with a beastly look in her eyes before she goes back to ripping apart the remains of the corpse.

 

“Need a napkin or something?”

 

"How light does it need to be?"

 

Shadow Stephanie doesn't respond. After devouring the corpse, she looks down at her bloodied hands, and where the corpse was; before charging off, running down an alley.

"Well, they're boomerangs, so nothing heavy." Vexa says.

 

I follow her, sticking to the rooftops.

 

"Okay, I get that, but how strong is an air guardian?"

 

Shadow Stephanie is extremely fast, making it hard to keep up with her. You manage to catch up to her as she screams at a guardian she has pinned on the ground, looking terrified out of their mind. Shadow Stephanie charges off a moment later, leaving the guardian be, who simply shakes on the ground out of shock.

"Not very, they're quite weak." Vexa says.

 

"You're allowed inside the cave. Or atleast she allows you too."

 

I keep trying to keep up with Shadow Stephanie anyways, ignoring the guardian.

 

"Are they able to pick up something the weight of a novel-length book?"

"You're kidding, right? That's the most obvious trap I've ever heard of."

 

You lose track of Shadow Stephanie after a while, though you eventually find her devouring another corpse, her knife stuck through a weird, tentacled parasite near to her; the parasite dead.

"Yes, but nothing like a warhammer." Vexa says.

 

I drop down to her, grabbing her by the shoulder.
“Hey!”
