«rp» Fate's Eye [7/7] ~arc 3~

Rathius sees what happens and has enough.
"Goa!" He shoots the fireball next to Estelle, warning her.
"Who do you think you are?! Thinking you have the right to do whatever you like!"

He turns to Diabel. "And you?! You traitor! You saw what happened with your own eyes!"

 

Marcus pulls back the woman's hood, revealing a black-haired young woman in her twenties. There was a huge, ugly scar over the left side of her face, covering her eyes.

The woman laughed weakly. "You don't know nothing." She whispered. "All of you don't know anything that goes on underground——— Gaaaah!!!!"

She turned her head to the side and vomited out blood. Something was glowing on her neck— it was the brooch that was on her cloak. The stone started to glow bright orange— then exploded. The woman's body caught fire instantly, turning it into ash. Looking around, Marcus saw all the bodies of the figures on the roof bursting into fire in a similar way.

"Shit!" Marcus swore. It wasn't too late to go after the figures.

 

"I... I refuse to be punished by something I didn't do." I mutter in the ground, as I get up "I thought at least you would believe me, but it seems that I have overestimated you." I sob, with my eyes tearing up.
"I won't let that happen to other people. There has already been enough suffering." I open my wings and summon Fula on the ground to take off the concentration of the Spirit User trapping the boy

 

Marcus grabs his bow and hastily makes his way across the rooftops, going where the figures went.

 

I just keep quiet and let them take me, the judge will most likely see my innocents

I was super happy when I saw that you'd posted this, because I've been looking to join the RP's on the forum again, but because a ton of shit is happening at my school I never got around to applying or even trying to reserve a spot. Then a few days later the RP was full and then I put off writing this even longer. I'm super sad I missed this, because you are an amazing GM and you make some amazing RP's.

It's so long since I watched the anime. The nostalgia. It was one of the first anime's I watched. :)

Buddy. Insane characters are the best! ;D
These past two weekends I've played two of them in LARP's (Live Action RolePlay). One of them was a huge masochist and was super fun to play. He was basically hated by everyone since he was also a huge sadist and cared for nothing and noone. Not even himself. I had fake scars on my arms, on my kneck and in my face. I was executed publicly for the others to watch, because of my behavior. A gun was put to the back of my head and when I was shot I spat out a lot of fake blood onto the floor. Safe to say I had a lot of fun with that character.
My other character was a vampire who was hallucinating like hell. He basicly never knew if people or things were real or not. Sometimes when I was bored I just sat in a chair talking to noone. People were looking weird at me (for good reason). He also had a thing for knives and tested if people were real by stabbing them with knives..... I had six knives hidden away different places on my body. When people tried to confiscate one I just pulled forth another one. Two of them were smoothly placed in my sleeves and were super quick to just slide out. This character was super fun to play too.
Both characters cared about basicly nothing and were some unstable assholes that could go instantly from "You're pretty cool" to "I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU, YOU SON OF A BITCH! Both of them had very twisted views on the world too >;)

That became so much more of a ramble than I intended. I'm sorry XP
I hope at least someone found it entertaining. ^^

I shake my head in confusion, then set off, looking for survivors and other people.

 

Fine.
Throwing spears to pin them against the wall.

 

"I don't understand you, Angela." Estelle muttered quietly as she turned.

"Goa!" The fireball summoned by Rathius hit the ground next to Estelle, exploding. The young woman stopped in her tracks.

"Who do you think you are?! Thinking you have the right to do whatever you like!" Rathius shouted to Estelle, then turned to Diabel. "And you?! You traitor! You saw what happened with your own eyes with what happened with the Witch's Cult!"

Diabel looked up coldly. "...traitor? Traitor!?" Diabel laughed without humour. "Don't make me laugh. That lady whom you just fired a magic against— she is the current King Candidate!"

What—!? Rathius opened his mouth, but had no words to shout back against.

"I... I refuse to be punished by something I didn't do." Angela muttered on the ground as she got up. "I thought at least you would believe me, but it seems that I have overestimated you..... Fula!"

A blade of wind shot at Diabel, and the knight gave a cry and leaped back. In that moment Rathius's bond became weaker, and he slipped out. Angela spread her wings, ready to take off———

"....ENOUGH!" Estelle turned, her longsword in her hand. She swung it in a horizontal slash— and a massive burst of wind attacked Angela and Rathius, blowing them into the air. They landed hard into the street over 50 meters away, unable to move from the suprise and pain.

"....knights. Take them to the castle." Estelle turned and muttered to the shocked-looking knights. But neither Rathius nor Angela heard the woman's words— they had blacked out.

Tyrinel turned a corner, coming near to where his shop was. And there—

He saw a group of armed knights around and inside the house, looking around. Tyrinel by instinct hid himself behind the wall.

What? Why're they searching my house? His hand slowly crept to the dagger which he had picked off the ground after Gluttony threw it onto the ground.

"Stop!" Suddenly, Tyrinel saw a knight holding a sword in front of him. He raised his voice and shouted, "Here, I found him! He's here!"

The knight pointed the tip of the sword at Tyrinel. "Tyrinel Amir. You are arrested for causing the witchfiend attack on the Capital and murder of Commander Iguva of the Knights!"

Before Tyrinel could reply or resist, the knight raised his free hand and shouted— "El Shamak!" As the Shadow magic took effect, Tyrinel's entire sight went black.

Unable to see or feel his body, Tyrinel gagged. He was instantly knocked out by a heavy blow to the back of his head.

He sw the numerous cloaked figures making their ways into an alley. Marcus quickly followed, leaping over the roofs but not losing sight of his targets. Suddenly, the figures turned to their left, even though all there was was a wall. And as the figures ran into the wall, their bodies passed right through them and disappeared.

 

Surprised, Marcus fires an arrow into the wall where they escaped, aiming to hit the ground if the arrow passes through.

 

You've replied really late, honestly. The story progressed so much, the whole witchfiend situation has finished. (and you too @Bailwolf :P)

Let's say you have been captured by the knights after the fight with witchfiends after «Sloth»'s Authroity went into effect. Wait for your reply.

 

Oooh~ I wanted to do something cool invoering the Candidate. Oh well, maybe later.

The place he was in was dimly-lit and damp.

Knight Kayde opened his eyes slowly. His memory was hazy: the crimson alert, meeting of a lunatic who named herself «Lust», a seraph, «Sloth», a dragon, a wound that made him pass out————

"Ugh... gah!!" Kayde's consciousness awakened completely, and now he was looking around furiously to find out about his whereabouts.

He was in a cell with iron bars covering the walls. He was being laid down on a bed. He pulled his shirt up and checked his stomach. The cut that was made by «Lust»'s power had healed completely, leaving a faint scar. Someone must've worked healing arts on him.

What he didn't understand was his situation. There was a major attack on the Capital of Arcuntar by an organisation named the «Witch's Cult», and he was a knight contributing in stopping their attacks. Why was he in a cell?

He tried summoning an ice crystal with magic, but the mana inside him refused to go out of his gate. There must've been a spell woven into the walls of this place that prevented use of magic.

".....Kayde?" A familiar voice called Kayde's name. He turned, and saw a figure slouched in a cell next to his own cell. As the figure leaned forward, his yellow eyes and brown hair came visible.

"....Rathius." Kayde muttered in a somewhat troubled expression. In fact, he had seen him detransforming from an appearance of a dragon right after the fight, right before he passed out from the blood loss. He looked around the prison room, and saw numerous figures in the cells.

In one cell was the white-blonde seraph who was fighting against «Lust» in the streets with Kayde. Next to it was a cell with a pale black-haired youth, whom to Kayde's surprise, recognised as the current 'Scythe' of Arcuntar Kingdom.

In the other cells was a white-haired boy looking out of a window into the night sky, and in the last cell was a travel-worn middle-aged man sitting cross legged in the middle of the cell.

"You're finally awake." The middle-aged man spoke slowly. "Now— should we talk about how we got here, eh?" (this is Tyrinel btw)

 

"It isn't that difficult to understand, is it now? Sloth did something to their memory. Shuffled it or something."

He gets up and heads for the bars of the cell.
"Now that everyone is awake, I'm not staying here any longer."

He starts to pull against the bars, trying to break them.

Uh, it felt awkward to just use all the names like Volcanica and Satella in this RP, so I changed them. (though there's so much copies from Re:Zero, like Crusch being Estelle, Priscilla being Tristia, etc. etc...)
