"They really need your help. Their king needs help, and Alice was too weak to reach out to anyone other than a friend in her house." Ihra says. "I'd go myself, but... I think light magic would do more harm than help."

 

"That's why I'm not a final copy."

 

"I shall bestow a gift to aid them, in that case." Tenebrae says.

"You seem good enough as a person to me." Shadow Stephanie shrugs.

 

"Apparently it's really really bad. Like, most of the shadows in the palace weren't really shadows."

 

"Gotcha."
He climbs over the mountain and heads for the cave.

 

"Thanks."
I smile.

 

The wyvern is the first to see you, the dragon sleeping.

 

Tenebrae cuts the connection.

Alice suddenly feels a massive surge of power and strength, feeling like she could take on even the Hive Master; though that may be a bit too ambitious.

"No problem." Shadow Stephanie says casually.

 

As we walk by more tanks, skeletons are instead collapsed, or torn apart. Each of them are labeled, as well, going from "One" all the way up to "Twenty".
Drawing more attention, though, is the giant hole in the ceiling, opening up to the night sky. A stack of various rectangular and square items make a staircase up towards the hole, which I look up towards.

 

He waves at the wyvern. Then he quickly heads outside and searches for the other centaur.

 

Shadow Stephanie looks for the tank labeled "Thirteen"

 

It's there, and is the only tank with the door wide open, and no shattered glass.

 

"Glad to see you've kept your civility." Shadow Stephanie comments.

 

"I didn't really feel like bloodying my fists at the time."
I don't look towards the room.

 

Shadow Stephanie doesn't respond, probably out of things to say.

 

"That was the alternate way in, if you were ever wondering."
I point to the hole in the ceiling.

 

"Ah." Shadow Stephanie says, looking out of the hole.

 

I walk over to the makeshift staircase, and look it up and down, before slamming my fist into it, making it all tumble down with a crash.

 

She uses the opportunity to link to Aj.
"Please tell me I'm not the only one who just got overloaded."

They're hiding a bit, curled beneath an evergreen tree.

 

"I'm not building that up again so you can crash it for your amusement." Shadow Stephanie says flatly.

"Huh? No. You're not. Man, I feel great!" I say, sounding hyper, "Wanna go raid a human village? Oh, but I gotta kill all these mimics. Don't know which one is which. Mmmm. Aaaah. Gotta stab a lotta people. Find the mimics. Find find find!"
