And, I will say, I don’t follow what sage advice said. I would rule that it CAN target non-spell magic effects.

However, shapeshifting is like the ability to magically hover or like a dragon breathing fire. It’s an innate part of the creature that can not be dispelled. A gold dragon’s polymorph can be dispelled, but not a werewolf’s shapeshifting.

So, at the very least the girl is not using polymorph or disguise self or something like that

Yes, but it’s still a trait. Compare it to a gold dragon. The dragon has almost the same wording, but it’s not a trait, it’s an action called “Change Shape”.

Also, I just checked the wording of Dispel Magic on the 5e wiki:

Choose one creature, object, or magical effect within range. Any spell of 3rd level or lower on the target ends. For each spell of 4th level or higher on the target, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell’s level. On a successful check, the spell ends.

It specifically says “spell”. Also, I hate pulling this card, but just listen to me as the DM on this one

No. Nothing about being a Warforged gives you any advantage or immunity against charms. I think Elves get that, but not Warforged

 

I mean, if it's designed for that purpose, then yes... Is there anything that girl wouldn't screw?
