"No problem." He smiles.

 

Ruby seems a bit perturbed, waving once before turning away.

A bit of snow is flung at your face.
"Come on, you already have a spouse."

 

Ruby can feel Claire's eyes on her for a bit before she looks away.

 

He swipes the snow of his face and lets go of the centaur.
*cough* "Right."

 

Ruby glances back at her, nervous.

Both draconians seem to keep to themselves.

"Don't slip and fall."

 

"Don't worry, I have enough grip."
He gets back on all four and keeps walking.
..
"I'm sorry for your lost, Tuer."

 

"God damn it!" Victus complains, handing over a pile of silver and gold coins, Tirra's hand seeming to have just beat his.

Tirra snickers quietly, assembling her money in small towers after handing out the cards.

 

It’s large, red and black cube, connected to the wall. It’s also obviously not working, this fact emphasized by the large hole in the middle of it, complete with ripped wires and all.
I walk past the hole, though, paying no mind to it.

 

"Smart move." Shadow Stephanie comments.

 

“What? Destroying the generator?”

 

"Yeah. Stops easy contact to external help, cuts off power for items to be used against you, makes it harder to see..." Shadow Stephanie trails off, "You get the point."

 

“...Right.”
I say after a pause, then go around a corner, going behind the generator.

 

Shadow Stephanie appears behind you.

 

There’s another corpse, at the base of what looks like a red lever and plastic box for a fire alarm. This one’s propped up, though, almost as if it’s just trying to relax, sitting against the wall. Either that, or it’s trying to show you the fist-sized dent in its head. It’s most likely trying to do neither of those things, though, because it’s a corpse.
“Jack.”
There’s a pause.
“Four.”

 

"Jesus, talk about violent." Shadow Stephanie comments.

 

“Yeah, Nineteen didn’t really pull any...”
I don’t complete the sentence, just starting at Jack.

 

Shadow Stephanie snorts a bit, amused.

 

I smile a bit, then stop after a moment, walking over to the box and flipping it up, then pulling the lever.
Most of the lights come back on, a woman’s voice ringing out, “Backup power activated”

 

"I-I'd rather f-focus on what I s-still have..."

Ruby snickers off to the side.

 

"Right... right." He remains quiet and decided to quietly follow the others.
