Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I could see what I could do in terms of opening a portal between, if you wanted." Shadow Stephanie says.

"Sometimes I do, and sometimes they come to visit. I don't see them too often though, I don't want to create too much of an association with them in case people use them against me." I say.

 

“It’d help, certainly. Thanks.”

 

"No problem." Shadow Stephanie says happily.

 

“Do you need information from me for it? I don’t have the coordinates, coordinates were one the things left out of my making.”

 

"I could accompany you to your old lab to see where it is, if you'd like." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"I didn't know shadows could reproduce. That's kind of sweet... though at the same time it's a bit of a scary prospect that my sister is now a demigod, born straight from a goddess."

 

“Sure. I don’t know how long the fire gems on my feet last as well, so it’d be good to have someone with me.”

 

"The only problem with reproduction is that I probably couldn't ever have a child with Artemis if I wanted to, it'd probably kill her before it was born, if not during birth," I explain, "Though I wouldn't think Alice is too powerful. She was less born through the womb and more...converted."

 

"Once you're done, do you mind telling me how much further? I've been away for quite a while now."

 

"Didn't Abigail or Stephanie make those for you? If they're from our reality, then they should recharge by themselves, if they're enchanted correctly." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"Not that she's too powerful, but it's sort of... strange. I mean, if you all have blood ties to Tenebrae but weren't literally her child, then she's literally her child."

"I think it'll only take a good fifteen minutes at this point."

 

“They seem to be, but even while they’re in use?”

 

"Alright. Then let's hurry."
He finishes cleaning his teeth , ready to go.

 

The dragon nods, digging up one more bone.
"I'll be ready after this."

 

"I wouldn't say so. The conversion was more to fully change her body into one of a Shadows, most of her biological structure still comes from her original mother." I say.

"Technically yes, but that's more lamps that are low power. For yours, they probably only recharge after not being used for a bit due to the magic they consume, so you can't go on an extremely long flight." Shadow Stephanie explains.

 

“Mm.”
I nod.
“Do you need time before we set out?”

 

"What was even left of her body?"

 

"I'll just prepare a few things and tell some people where I'm headed." Shadow Stephanie says, getting off of her throne, her size somewhat daunting.

"I dunno, it was probably fused into her." I say.

 

I take a step back.
“The quickest way to the place we’re going would be through the Void Palace portal room, unless you have a portal set up to the place before we left for the Void Palace.”

 

"Either way, I'm going to call her Tenebrae's daughter now. Maybe it'll make her feel a little better."
