I pat Ruby on the back, trying to calm her down.

The guards at the gates of the Shadow Palace glance at you, the gates remaining shut.

 

I walk up to them.
“I’d like to see a member of the royalty. It’s about Xlentia.”

 

"Geneson is moving down here? Have they completely rejected the breeze?"

 

"Only the queen is available, if that's alright." The guard says.

 

Somebody hide a water treatment plant under the lake?

I investigate futher.

 

“That should be fine.”
I nod.

 

The guards open the gates, allowing you through.

 

“Throne room?”
I ask, taking my time to head through.

 

The guard nods.

 

I nod once more, picking up the pace as I make my way to an elevator to get to the throne room.

 

There's no need for an elevator, the throne room just ahead of you from the entrance.

 

I head there.

 

A couple of large guards by the doors eye you down, before opening the doors for you.

 

I nod to them before going inside.

 

The guards stop.
"...What do you mean? We have winds down here."

You won't know until you get inside, but you can't get through the turbine itself. You'll have to look for some other way in, maybe through an exhaust port.

You're not pissed you just got hit with a bone? Nice guy...

"Okay, do you care if your food's frozen?"

She stays stressed for a good minute until calming down, taking a few deep breaths.

 

"I'm not used to it. So I would prefer if it was defrosted."

 

Shadow Stephanie sits on her throne in her large form, her large red eyes ominously gazing down at you as you enter.

"It's ok Ruby, it's ok." I say.

 

"Alright... do you care what the source of the fire is?"

"I hope it will be... I don't want to go back to being the crazy bitch I was."

 

“Hello.”
I wave as a greeting.
