He'd probably accept becoming a Fiend Warlock (as long as said fiend isn't Lilith) or Blood Hunter if it meant destroying a greater evil, though.

Good point. Warforged are living constructs, but are still constructs. Even the UA says they “perhaps” have souls.

If you don’t have a soul, you just kind of go to oblivion when you die (kind of like when someone with a soul dies and becomes a Wraith, or like when a soulless Barovian tried to leave Barovia after Strahd’s death and they just kind of fade away into nothingness)

That being said, that would make a deal with Evile even more appealing to you. You don’t know if you have a soul or not (I would probobly roll for it)

You could risk not taking the deal your soul carry onto the afterlife’s, but that’s also risking what would happen if you don’t have a soul

I would let you get resurrected though through normal resurrection means. Because it’s like the part of you that separates a Construct from a Living Construct being turned back on again

 

Yes, I remember the article. Those side effects are NOT something I want. I was just saying Kyelas would accept dark powers if it would help him defeat a greater evil.

 

I mean, remember how I said I only let you multiclass if you can give me a reason. That sort of resurrection, making a deal with Evile, would be a real reason to multiclass as an Undying Warlock or something





And unrelated note:
I would allow Blood Hunter, even though it’s HB, since it’s balanced and cool. I would not allow it for one one who’s never played DnD before, but if one of you wants to build a backup character who’s a Blood Hunter, I’m cool with that

I think this works. Most resurrections require the body being intact, and the ones that don’t create a new body for the person.

19 and 20 I don’t like, just because I am not the biggest fan of werewolves in general (if you know the Witchery mod, I’d always do Vampire, not werewolf).

So upon reading more carefully, the side effect can be removed by Remove Curse and similar magic

However, the counting as Evil Undead for the purpose of Divination magic and cats hissing at you and stuff like that is not removed by Remove Curse
