Talking counts as something done on your turn. Therefore, you cannot speak while being commanded to grovel, AFAIK.

 

Sentinel Feat I think gives you an option to do this as a reaction? I think so does the Protector Fighting Style? Basically, there are things that let you do it.

However, since I enjoy interesting combat tactics, I would probobly let you use your reaction to do it, but you might fall prone after

He speaks with the mouth against the ground so it sounds like : "you'rfve arfved gofoing tfo dief !"

 

So, help would make me able to block out a melee attack? Cause that's what I'm thinking of.

 

Wait, shit, help doesn’t do that.
Help allows you to help another person in attacking.
Dodge imposes disadvantaged on melee attacks against you.

 

Yevor: "Heat! Stand down!"
Yevor moves a little and uses one of his Extra Attacks to attack Caligo. It has advantage, due to Prone.
Attack Roll: 15 + 6 = 21
Damage Roll: 9 + 3 = 12
At the last second, he rotates his sword to hit Caligo with the flat of the blade (flavor only), knocking him unconscious instead of killing him. He's unconscious, but stabilized.

Yevor doesn't make his second attack.

 

Logically, I feel like if I've filled him with divine terror, he wouldn't really be able to continue sassing me.
