Bob Fan Idea

I Have a suggest for people who have lost there "Bob Mythic" weapon
It is a "Bob Fan Merchant"
How would it work?
I got this idea from inside of Cinfras. There would be someone in Nessak called a
"Bob Fan Merchant" He'll take your "Bobs seal of approval" for ancient treasure so you can
get your Mythic Weapon back. I think this would be a nice idea because you'd have to kill Bob and you cant abuse it. What do you guys think?

If this does happen make the mythic weapons (Bobs Mythic Bow, Bobs Mythic spear, Bobs Mythic Dagger and Bobs Mythic Wand) Untradable so they Can NOT be used to sell to an item buyer or on the forums to make easy money.

 

There's really no point. Maybe if the weapons were still actually good, but you're going to be getting better weapons pretty soon anyway.

 

This pretty much already exists. There’s no point in adding this.

 

One, this should be in gen_sug
Two, this could be abusable by getting a bunch of bobs seals, getting a bunch of corrupted treasures, getting a bunch of items, then selling them to the item buyer.

 

tbh a good dps or spell build, getting like 64 seals; then doing this; getting all the weapons, then item buying it would give you too much fucking emeralds

 

Well you'll have to open Bobs Tomb and Kill bob. So it cant just be abused and sold to an Item Buyer. But, to solve that problem you could probely get 2-5 Bobs Seal of Approval for one Ancient Treasure.

 

To fix the IB complaints, they could just make the weapon untradeable

 

Eh, there's no reason either to do this or not to do this, but I'm leaning towards not doing this. I'm assuming you got the idea from the Siegfried fan merchants? Bob and Siegfried are very different. Bob is this genuine, very powerful hero who went and destroyed really dangerous monsters. He also died quite a long time ago iirc. Siegfried, on the other hand, is this guy who is quite a good fighter, if the fans are to believed. However, no one has actually seen him fight, or, afaik, seen him full stop. He's most likely a scam, which if you consider the price of his merch, is probably true.

Actually with a good build it’s incredibly easy to spam kill bob. To actually fix this, make it so you need to also trade in a bobs weapon as well as a seal.

Did you even read what this is suggesting or what cause I'm confused now

how are you supposed to get your bobs mythic if you need bobs mythic for it

If you lose your Bob Mythic Weapon you Cant get it back unless you make a whole new account and get to level 70 and do the quest again
My suggestion is that there will be a "Bob Fan Merchant" Who will buy your bobs seal of approval **Something you get for killing bob** for an ancient treasure to rebuy a
Mythic Weapon.
Now people are suggesting to make the Mythic Weapons untradeable so people cant make alot of money off of it.
I hope that cleared things up

 

i mean; bob was a celebrity during the time that he was alive; it isn't too far fetched to say that he'd have at least ONE fan merchant, unlike gavel who has it everywhere.

You can? It's not untradeable, just go on the trade markets, people will trade it.

Yeah he was somewhat of a celebrity when he was alive, but iirc that was like 70 years ago? That might be me muddling up my facts. I mean, in general it's not that bad of an idea, maybe even make it so that the quest has this merchant, but then the weapons would have to be untradeable.
