Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

“Well, they’re not here. My point is that there are many more people than just me that aren’t experiencing a new beginning.”

 

"Oh, yeah. There's so many people, you could probably say anything and have it be true."

 

“Scary, if you think about it too much. Then again, so is everything.”
I step through the portal.

 

He heads through as well, nodding at you as he heads off to the bunk room.

 

I nod to him back, making my way to Xlentia’s chambers.

 

They're wide open, Xlentia seeming to have covered herself partially with her gold pile.

 

"H-Help!" Rin calls back, scared.

Onyx just glances toward Ali innocently, looking like she has no intention of harm.

 

I knock, trying to alert her to my presence, then walk inside.

 

Ali sighs.
"Onyx, could you please let her go? You might give her a heart attack."

She turns to you.
"Yes?"

 

"but shes pretty and glowy!" Onyx says innocently.

 

“Just wanted to drop by. See what’s going on.”

 

Ali sighs again.
"You're scaring her, though."

"Nothing much. I haven't been paying attention."

 

"huh?" Onyx asks, glancing back at Rin who seems to be struggling, attempting to escape her grasp.

 

"Please let her go."

 

Onyx looks confused on what to do, squeezing Rin a bit and turning away from Ali.

"shes mine though!" Onyx says.

 

Ali cringes.
"No, she's not. She's my assistant, and I was worried because she never came back!" She says, suddenly angry.

 

Onyx's ears drop, and she looks scared, releasing Rin who immediately flies over to Ali, hiding behind her.

"T-Thank you." Rin says, shaken.

Onyx runs off into the garden, quickly changing into her cat form.

 

"Are you okay?" Ali asks, worried.

 

"I-I think so, s-she just pounced on m-me and l-looked at me." Rin says.

 

"You aren't in pain, are you?" She asks, glancing at where Onyx went.
