Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ihra glances out in the garden, seeing if the gardeners are stirring yet. If they are, she tries to tie them up and cover their mouths with vines. If she can't, she hauls them inside.

 

The gardeners are still unconscious, luckily; Daniel freaks out a bit when he sees them though.

 

Ihra puts a claw to her lips.
"Shh... I'm trying to keep as many of you alive as I can." She says, worried. "If any of you start calling for help, then he'll kill all of you. He's got better things to do than kill a bunch of innocents, so I need to make sure you stay innocent. And, uh... sorry about the guards. I'm not big on people trying to kill me."

 

"A-Alright." Daniel says, still shaken.

 

“You two were knocked out by poison darts. King’s dead, too.”

 

"So, uh... did you live here? I hardly visit Earth."

"W-what?!"
"Get everyone here!"

 

"I-I worked here." Daniel says.

 

"Well... I was sort of guessing that, considering you and the gardeners were here, and it didn't look like a commune." Ihra sighs. "I, uh... I don't really know how to introduce myself beyond my name. I come from a place you'd never dream of. I mean... there's a lot more than just humans, and there aren't guardians. It'd be great if it wasn't totally war-torn."

 

Daniel nods, though it's clear he doesn't really understand.

 

"Let me try and describe just one part of it... okay, you know how this mansion seems really big? I live with a goddess of darkness, but instead of a shadow she's a dragon that's as big as a small town. Her palace has hallways that are many times wider than this mansion, and it has a library bigger than every single library here on Earth combined."

 

"That...sounds impossible." Daniel says.

 

"It's as impossible as meeting the king of shadows and a dragoness in the same day." She smiles.

 

"I-I guess some crazy things have happened today." Daniel says.

Ihra feels the magical block invert, almost as if it's enhancing her magic.

 

Ihra giggles. "I might have to have you come visit someday... maybe you'll have to come with me, I dunno what he'll want."
Ihra tries healing Daniel.
"Well, I think he fixed what he came to fix." She says, feeling better.

 

Ihra's healing is twice as effective.

"H-Huh?" Daniel asks.

 

"Whoever owned this mansion was... sort of on path to destroy the planet. That's why the shadow king came here."

 

"R-Really?" Daniel asks, surprised.

 

"If that's the case, I'll just transform back. Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
He goes outside and heads towards the other direction than he went before he entered the cave again.

 

"See, I'm a priestess, but my magic was suppressed. Problem is, without any magic, things like planets would start withering away, and then whoever owned the mansion would sort of control a lot of power. Like, blow off the face of half the planet lot of power."
