Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Shadow Stephanie groans.


Ihra gets farther into the countryside, finding a few cottages scattered about for farmers.

 

"Not like they can recover quickly from losing that much. They'll probably be about ready by the time we repair everything, though."


She sits down and tries linking with you again.

 

Shadow Stephanie groans again.


Ihra can seem to reach me, though feels blocked by something.

 

"What now? We'll be expecting an attack this time."


She tries to figure out what's blocking her.
"...Hello?"

 

"Can you handle it yourselves?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


Ihra's telepathic message just fizzles away.

 

“Ah, yes, I forgot, all of you are omnipotent and can see exactly what each of you puts in your mouths.”
Voidfiller rolls his eyes.

 

"You didn't even bother to check."

"Likely."


She tries to trace the location of the block.

 

"Alright, good." Shadow Stephanie says.


Wherever it is, it's extremely far away.

 

“Damn straight. Now go home.”

 

"Oh my... That's.. twisted."

 

"Sad, but there's not much. You pretty much have to fight for everything up here."

"What, you gonna kill me too?"

"I mean, we need to rebuild about a third of this thing, but after that we'll be able to take them on whenever they want."


Ihra tries to trace a direction.

 

"I'll do worse. Got alotta pent-up rage from that girl killin' herself. Now go home."
I look towards Voidfiller, a bit worried.

 

"You have pent up rage from you killing her?"
He holds his ground.

 

"You heard exactly what I said."
Voidfiller stares him down.
"Go. Home."
"Voidfiller, stop."

 

"What sort of stuff do you need rebuilt?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


It seems to be far south east.

 

Fine

 

"That doesn't really help. I wonder what happened with these centaurs."

 

He doesn't move.

"Centaurs? I haven't had a good meal in weeks..."

"Only the parts of the space station that are obviously gone."
"We didn't really expect you to have the tech to help, plus we were told you wouldn't stick around that long anyways. Something about not caring?"
"Eh, Iddie runs her mouth. Who knows if what she says holds as much meaning as she says..."


Ihra takes off, heading in the direction of the block.

 

"Oh no. The centaurs that lived near my home. I saw that their village got burned down."

 

"Well, keep aafe at least." Shadow Stephanie says.


After a while, Ihra finds herself flying over a huge, turquoise ocean, waves crashing below her.

A couple of hours later, after crossing the ocean, Ihra sees a huge mansion built on a large hill in the distance, looking rather cut off from a nearby town.
