    A pretty tame and overall well-made anime I recommend is one called Erased.
    It's only 12 Episodes, and also something that could work as a nice transition to get into the style.

    Over the multiple seasons it just gets boring, Every season is this girl gets captured then some badass guy witha sword saves her with a sword or gun.

    I just saw the first movie, and it was... damn. I liked nearly everything about it to the fight scenes, the characters, and the story. The fight scenes were spectacular btw. Everything from the music, the choreography, and the animation was spot on. Nothing felt out of place or unnecessary or repetitive, which is something the other shows did poorly. While it was gorey, it wasn’t so much that I felt I had to turn it off.

    I would say this is the best anime so far I’ve watched. While One Punch Man and AoT have their own ways to stand out, this still trumps all of them plus some. Can’t wait for the second movie. :)
