??? Mech Key Not Working?

    Ok so i've tried the ??? red meteor a few times now and where the mech key is supposed to spawn it never shows up. I know sometimes it takes a while but after a long time it still doesnt appear. Is this bugged? or do i just have to wait a year

    try doing the minecart part again. after you open the door, the key should spawn
