I'm looking for somebody who can play in a dnd simulator with me and a few other people. We're gonna play on the 27th of January at 12:00 noon EST. You also need a windows PC, a mac doesn't work. You need a mic to talk in discord too.

What's a dnd simulator?

So I know we have A LOT of campaigns going, so don't worry, I'm not forcing you into another campaign.

There's this thing called Adventure Roll: http://www.adventureroll.com/

Basically, it's this amazing thing that lets DMs literally build a dungeon (complete with all 5e monsters and items and everything) and lets players make characters and go into first person view and whatnot.

I participated in the very first DM open-testing and was very pleased. I think a Player testing session is coming out soon too.

Anyway, later this month it's going to be opened to the first 100 DMs who sign up. I have already signed up. The email explaining this encouraged the DMs to have a few players also register players so when the time for test DM + Player testing comes closer, it's going to be ready.

IDK if you guys want to try this out, but I figured if anyone would be good with this it would be you three.

So, yeah...

IDK, if you want to do this, please sign up. If you don't want to, that's fine, I probobly should have asked you before even making this convo.

But yeah! I think it shows great potential (better than even Roll20) and would love if you guys would help test and give feedback!

Umm, just go to the link I gave and just do the sign up thing. Right now it doesn't ask if you are a DM or a Player (they know Me as a DM tho, I'm on their Email mailing list and they know me from the DM testing thing).

The program (as of the last beta test) only works on firefox, but they also have it available as a downloadable program (which was not finished at the time of the beta test) and have plans for getting it to work onto Chrome.

I also recommend you go down to the bottom and go to that badly-places "Press Kit" button. It has screenshots that show how it looks with the enemies in it, how players will see it, an example of Darkvision, and their VR support (VR is not needed, but can be used). It also has a few videos.

Some notes about this ^^^. As of the last time I checked:

There's no undo button (they are adding it)

Press H or something to drop a character into the dungeon

The character moves really slow, but SHIFT lets him sprint

There's no enemies or interactive stuff in that version, just bare bones dungeon making (once again, this will be VERY different during the testing later this month)

Q and E rotate things, as does the mousewheel
