Your Opinion Of Nivla Forest?

I love nature and forests. While of course a minecraft forest can’t replicate what a real forest is like, getting lost in the trees, it can be relaxing.

You know the spiders like to interrupt but I don’t blame them.

 

I find the progression funny in this game. You start on flat, emerald plains, then you are suddenly chucked into this dark forest of lag and destruction, with a quest that forces you to learn the soul point system if you haven't played before, and is unforgiving to noobs who lose the path. Then it's just back to the simple flat plains again.

the reason salted liked it is because this is his alt account and he is trying to get feedback on the nivla forest without attracting too much attention

back to the subject, it may seem hard for some players as an early area, but i think it stands as a good way to prepare players for later areas, such as the CotL or the Troms Jungle. my only criticism is that it seems a bit compact for what it's meant to be.

U should search for towers ( in / on the edge of nivla ) and climb them , u might not understand at first but its pretty cool

 

It's pretty nice. Not the greatest thing in the world though. However, the music and the watchtowers are good.

 

I used to walk through the forest every time, just to do loot runs with my lvl 11 back when concentration was the THING.

Nowadays I refuse to walk through the tunnel sometimes because it is too much effort to use a different, more efficient path. You have to rewire your neurons and consume some brainpower to make that happen.

But the music is awesomely nostalgic.

 

I kind of like and hate Nivla Forest.

I like it as it's one of the few areas I have memories of when I first started all the way back in 2013, and it was fun discovering each part of it and getting lost through the winding trees.

However, as I've progressed through the game, I've come to hate it. The amount of condensed leaves causes extreme lag, and before the addition of the much needed fast travel between Ragni and Detlas, it was a slog to get through in order to reach Detlas if I didn't have any scrolls, or was starting out a new class. Sure, it looks pretty, and it's where Assassins were cited as originating from (if I recall correctly, but it could've been Archer. Or both), but it's just too laggy and long when you want to get somewhere.

 

I still have Mushroom Man to complete, but after that, never will I return to Nivla ever again. Just hate it. HATE IT



Also there’s a tier 3 loot chest on Craftmas Island, just telling y’all. Good luck finding it

Well where is Gtx Forest than?

It is at the begining of the world.

 

Actually I don't have many thoughts about Nivla because you know, Tunnel Trouble gives fast travel that saves a lot of time. There are only 2 reasons to go there. First is the three quests, second is the watch towers.

 

Third is the Infested Pit dungeon

 

Nivla's kinda spooky! With all the spiders and whatnot :P It's not really my favorite area, but it has some cool quests.
