    How do you guys think about the tide pod challenge? I think it 's an absolutely stupid idea. It's basically a form of suicide, except real and virtual. We all know this really shouldn't be alive. I want this to stop as soon as possible.

    If you don't know what the tide pod challenge is, it's where teens bite into tide pods (the laundry detergent pods). It's obviously extremely harmful.

    So what are your thoughts?

    I haven’t heard much about it, but it seems like another stupid, dangerous challenge like the cinnamon challenge. Some people just never learn or are peer pressured into doing dumb things.

    I'm disgusted by the internet for even turning tide pods into a meme. I thought we learned our lesson from the "drink bleach" memes but it seems I thought too highly of the internet. Memes are funny when they're harmless but when they encourage stuff like this it makes me lose my faith in humanity.

    Honestly, I didn't know there was a 'tide pod challenge'. I just thought they were a meme, but while I know a few people were stupid enough to actually try eating them, I don't think that was the original idea. I think certain people have taken it too far, though.

    I just don’t care. I don’t feel right to be happy about people dying, but at the same time you can’t save people from their own stupidity in the end.
