Is General Skien Based Off A Nazi General?

Ok. Right from the start this sounds outrageous. However, recently I have been leveling up my warrior, and it came time to do Bob's Reincarnation. While I was at Skien's Island getting Mooington's skin, I explored the castle, and there were a lot of signs/diary entry-like stories. And I was thinking if this lore dug a little deeper than your average Wynncraft lore.

Skien seems to have many similar traits to a general named Oskar Dirlewanger. The first trait is that General Skien was from Troms and fought in a war. I do not know what war but I believe it would be an ocean war because there's A GIANT FUCKING CASTLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN. Oskar was joined in Würzburg Germany. When he fought he did end up fighting in France.

Next, Skien was said to be a madman, portrayed by having a poor castle design with 2 towers not connected, treating his soldiers poorly, and just said to be insane. "After the end of World War I, Dirlewanger, described in a police report as a mentally unstable, violent fanatic and alcoholic, who had the habit of erupting into violence under the influence of drugs," -Wikipedia.

Next is my final point. General Skien went into hiding eventually and can even be fought as a secret boss battle in the basement of the castle. Oskar also went into hiding after his 12th injury in the war, and was found about 1 and 1/2 months later.

It just seems like a batshit crazy general who landed on the island after some lore plot point since I barely played wynn but I think he was a Troms general who got his army lost / dissapeared or something I forgot

yeah i don't really think "Insane General" is really that uncommon of a thing

it's a huge stretch to say that Skien is based off of one specific general in all of time, as opposed to the decently common trope of an insane war commander

maybe not the 100% specific "A general went insane," but the idea of a military commander gone wrong is pretty common.

There is such thing as shell-shock or PTSD which in most cases can lead to insanity and judging by Skein's rank, he's most likely seen a lot of wars thus leading to his PTSD or shell-shock. Or y'know it could've been the corrupt or some other lore which I'm not familiar with.

Not bad, but to clarify about the war. It was the war against the corrupted, and he was fighting in Troms. When the villagers came he thought they were evil and moved to his island (or something)
