Whats The Hardest Dungeon For You?

Whats the hardest dungeon in your opinion? (if you went in at the level of the dungeon)
It can also include the corrupt versions as well.

For me its ice barrows its such a hard dungeon for my level 45 class, I can't even beat it with the best gear I can find at that level.

 

Ice Barrows was the hardest, but also a lot of fun, in my opinion. Get a weapon that deals earth damage.

Ummm... I've only completed two or three of the new dungeons, i think... If I'd tried to solo it when I first unlocked access to it, Fallen Factory would be the hardest, but I hardly took any significant damage because I had a water warrior with me who kept spamming war scream so we had resistance. He was also like level 100 or so, so he didn't have much difficulty with the mobs, although I had to tell him what to do quite a lot. I play archer so I'd get up some pillar and go in chat. Many spelling errors were made.

 

We all know the legendary unbeatable Giant Rat Cave is the hardest dungeon.

Ice barrows was the hardest pre-update, but theorick's health got nerfed, now it's not that hard(at least for me)

I'd say the hardest now is fallen factory, even though even that's not that difficult for a level 90 ish player

 

Hmm Icy Barrows was a fun challenge, I got to one room, died, then the next run I got to the next room, died, until the boss room, in which I realized I had no hope(so much HP) and gave up. I learned fun strategies, involving abusing bomb in the enemy spawn room while staying in the coal to take no damage, then instacollecting and running. I won it with another two players, and one almost died. That was, by far, the hardest dungeon for its level; I was able to do Undergrowth Ruins one level under expected.

Maybe i’m just garbage but Underworld crypt was the hardest for me once i got to the boss. At the level for the dugeon was recommended albeit. For me after i figured out how you get the first core from the left thing the Fallen Factory was pretty easy pre-actually good build for me. And still plenty fun too.

My top 3 hardest dungeons from third hardest to the hardest:

Underworld Crypt
The only hard part about this dungeon is the boss section. The soldiers that you summon are incredibly dumb and get in your way when you try to kill the mobs.

Fallen Factory
It's very long, and the boss fight is difficult, but I died a few times because I didn't have enough health potions, and I was using the wrong weapons.

Ice Barrows
UGH... The level requirements of Ice Barrows and Undergrowth Ruins (when I did them) should have been switched. Ice Barrows was hard even at level 54, and Undergrowth Ruins was easy at level 45. Not only did Theorick have tons of health, but he regenerated like crazy. Even with good fire/earth weapons with powerful powders applied, I went through 30+ health potions at my level and barely made a dent in him. I only beat Theorick because the battle glitched and ended randomly after getting him to about 15,000 health. (EDIT: IT ORIGINALLY SAID 25,000 BECAUSE OF A TYPO)

 

Ice Barrows and Fallen Factory. Yes, I made both of them, and they're probably a huge shock to the system; they're both similar in that regard.

Generally, dungeons are designed to have 5-6 rooms of action in them(excluding the boss room) and take 10-15 minutes alone.

Ice Barrows:
1) Barrows tunnel
2) Ice parkour
3) Poltergiced chamber
4) Walk the invisible
5) Ice walls
6) Summoning chamber

Fallen Factory:
1) Production floor A
2) Automated conveyor
3) Production floor D
4) Clock tower
5) Production floor E

I measured the time it took to complete Ice Barrows alone, and with a small group.

With four people, it took us collectively about 8 minutes at-level.

With just myself, it took about 11 minutes at-level.

Fallen Factory drags on a bit, I'll admit, due to the conveyor section and ambitious but ultimately unwieldy and tedious boss fight, but I intend to change that aspect of it, and even then it takes about 20 minutes to complete alone, which isn't that much more than the rest, along with its Extreme difficulty.

The reason Ice Barrows is seen as so hard, I would say, is because of its placement. The dungeons before and after it are absolute cakewalks, so it seems like a difficulty spike. I even made a graph to illustrate the concept.



As is plainly illustrated, Ice Barrows and Fallen Factory are both exactly where they're supposed to be, but Undergrowth Ruins and both Corrupted and normal Sand-Swept Tomb are far below what's expected. For Sand-Swept Tomb, this is due to the length of the dungeon, and the ease of the traps. Only one of the traps can even harm you, the arrow trap, and the rest of the dungeon is so short that it doesn't have a chance to show any real difficulty. While the Corrupted version is tougher due to the increased stats, it still has that same issue. Undergrowth Ruins' challenges are just far too easy, and the boss is a cakewalk.

Ice Barrows and Fallen Factory, however, are right where they need to be in terms of difficulty. I realize Fallen Factory needs a bit of tightening up in terms of length, but the point remains they're preceded, and in Ice Barrows' case followed by, extremely easy dungeons, so they seem that much worse by default.

Even before his health was nerfed to be where it should've been, he only had 20000 health and normal regen rate(5% of maximum health, 1000). Now, he's where he should be, having 14500 and 725 regen.
