Sacrificial Altar Auras

So most people know about the Sacrificial Altar near the Lost Sanctuary Dungeon. When you kill it, out comes multiple different auras in addition to a neat set helmet and wand. Now, the auras that particularly interest me are the Fiery Aura:

Now, if you played before the update 1.14.1, you may recall that there were elemental Mini-Dungeons in the Canyon of the Lost (removed after update 1.14.1). The bosses of those mini-dungeons used to drop BURNING aura, Earthly aura, Watery aura, and Windy aura.

These auras can now be traded in the Banistu Air Temple for a couple emeralds.

The watery aura that is sold in the Air Temple is the same water aura that can be obtained from the Sacrificial Altar, the same watery aura that can be obtained from killing certain mobs in caves in the Canyon of the Lost, and the same watery aura that could be gotten from the removed water mini-dungeon, the same one that can be obtained by the water zombie in the fire & water cave.
The windy aura could ONLY be obtained from the removed air mini-dungeon in the canyon of the lost.
The burning aura could ONLY be obtained from the removed fire mini-dungeon in the canyon of the lost.
The Earthly aura can be gotten from the Sludge Slinger in the Sewer Trap, and could be gotten from the removed earth mini-dungeon in the canyon of the lost.

The Sacrificial Altar also drops Light Aura and Dark Aura, but I don't care about that because the uses for those are known (none for Light aura atm, dark aura is used for dark mask in the ravine village).

The fiery aura, which can be obtained from the Pig Zomblaze in the Pigman Cave, the Fire Zombie in the Fire & Water cave, and the Sacrificial Altar, does NOT play a role in anything at the moment.
The Energetic Aura, which can only be obtained from the Sacrifical Altar, also has no use at the moment.
Which brings me to a couple questions. What are the fiery aura and the energetic aura to be used for? Are they supposed to be sold in the Banistu Air Temple? Why is the watery aura able to be obtained from so many places, but the other ones are not? The fiery aura also has quite a bit of places that you can get it from, but the Burning Aura does not. Are they supposed to be one and the same? Where does the Energetic Aura come into play?

I have no idea, but I do have a question: what's with that texture pack? Some items have vanilla textures, but some have the Wynn textures?

These auras do nothing. You cash them in for emeralds here if you keep them. However, they are each worth half an emerald... just don't keep em. As @YYGAYMER quoted:

If you want to get emeralds from item drops then I suggest farming the canyon bandits at the Marauder's Pass right in front of the Quest NPC for Marauder's Dues HERE.

By getting one character to rymek and another to the canyon, you can transport gold through your bank to the rymek character from Thesead's bank (It's slightly closer than Thanos). Each stack of gold ingots = 4 EB when trading with the Rymek Dealer Merchants. It is not as effective as just getting items and selling them on shop threads in the trade market, but over time you can make ~1 le an hour if you use a build for loot bonus and *some* damage on the canyon bandits. I seriously don't suggest trying to get emeralds from junk merchants tho. None of them provide emeralds at a competitive rate. You'll make more from farming loot chests or higher level areas for sought-after equipment.
EDIT: a minecraft inventory has 28 slots. 28*64*4=7128 emeralds or 112 EB or 1.75 LE.

Then you'll be able to get more from killing those mobs... There hasn't been any talks in the community about auras. They are garbage right now, and probably will remain so. Also, canyon bandits drop ~1-3 gold each. gold is their uncommon drop though.

 

There is one good junk merchant, although probably not for this as it only accepts the basic Wynn junk (rotten flesh, bat ears, bone meal, mashed insects etc) and idek if it's still there, but there was one on some random island in the middle of the ocean. Thing is, it's awkward to get to, but it was the best one in the Wynn province.

As you can see, all the junk is worth 1 to 1 from junk to emeralds. Gold is worth 1 to 4 from junk to emeralds. This means you get a better deal when collecting gold, than when collecting anything else. The only other items worth keeping to sell at a junk merchant are Snake Skins and Mashed Insects. The junk merchant found HERE should pay 4 emeralds for each. That is the exact same conversion from gold. I only suggested the canyon bandits instead is due to their higher level providing legendary gear that can also be resold.

 

Yes, it was that one. Obviously it's not great for endgame, but for people who aren't at the level yet it's tehe best option, although there isn't a bank iirc
