How Did You Get Into Wynncraft?

As the title suggests: how did everyone get into playing Wynncraft? Did you hear about it from someone on another server, someone irl, aliens? Just curious, I don't intend to do anything with the information.

I got into Wynncraft when an irl friend told me about it, but I thought it was some massive arena where you chose your class then just had to kill as many mobs as possible without dying. I was pleasantly surprised when I first logged in.

i started after inthelittlewood did a video on the skeleton dungeon for youtube :D

 

I came across crafted movie and then came across the ocean update trailer.

 

I started from some Australian YouTuber's, I can't remember their names though.

 

An IRL friend told me about Wynn, but that was long before Gavel. But around then, I didn't think it was that good so I quit for a while (a couple of months) then came back and BOY was there new stuff, the texture pack, Gavel, update room and all of that.

 

Searched "minecraft mmorpg" on YouTube and found Martyn's (Inthelittlewood) Wynncraft video, that then made me join the server.

 

Seb came up on my yt suggestions and I thought oh cool an mmo rpg in minecraft, that's something I'll have to try. Played until lvl 75 then left for 6-12 months and came back about 4 months or so ago .

 

In 2014 a bunch of friends were playing on this server and by the time I started playing they all quit and I kept playing cause it was awesome.

 

I got into Wynn through pure art

 

I first found it when a German youtuber called SparkofPhoenix played it in 2013, but I took two really big breaks and got really active when I saw that Gavel was released.

 

I saw a youtuber play on the server back when there wasnt a texture pack,but I didnt have a minecraft account back then so I started playing around Gavel release

 

An IRL friend told me about it ;D

 

I was sick so I watched a let's play and after that I started playing

 

An irl friend showed me it and decided to play. I remember what it was like before Gavel...no recourse pack and ID’ing was an option...

 

First I got into it via @Hexzer like 5 years ago, then quitted after some times (I think I was like level 15-16) then I saw a stream of Aurelien_Sama a french Youtuber playing it, it semt cool, I wanted to go back to it but was like "Nah, MMORPGs take a lot of time, and soon I won't have as much"
But I still started it, quitted a bit after and some days after tried to get friends to play with me, sadly I'm too much of a tryharder and when I love something I play it non-stop, so I just went a lot of levels above them quickly and they left xD
(Now I'm trying to get one of those friends to play the game again)

Some guy named ToastyBread was spamming Wynncraft images in a Discord server. More players in the server got into Wynncraft, so I did, too.

 

I started after I see a video about it on IceBlueBird's channel
