What Happened To Normal Pets?

I remember there were sheep, cows, chickens, etc. I scrapped these, but I doesn't seem they can be gotten from loot crates. There are only Wybels.

 

those were disguises not pets.

 

You could've had normal mobs as pets before the store was updated due to EULA (back when you could buy gold coins and spend them on stuff). I think you can still get some of the old pets from crates like creepers and stuff, but not some of the old ones, like Wither, minecart, and other entities.

 

The old pets are still partially obtainable through the gold coin shop (/gc) and can be purchased with gold coins (which you can't get anymore).

Also, normal pets still exist in game. I have the wither and magma cube and they work fine.

You can't get the normal mob pets anymore, the pets in the store & wybels were intended to replace them.

 

Couldn’t they just make the old pets obtainable again? I don’t see how that would be against EULA.
