so I was just reading the lores of items (ik i should get a life) and thought that quite of lot of stuff interconnected with each other so I thought id make a thread about it cuz im bored :/

Was gonna write some stuff but everything is just about oh blessed this sacred that so nah
Fissure refers to the weapon being used by "gods" in Dwarven folklore, suggesting they are merely myths.
Garaheth was a giant fire demon revered by the Doguns as a god. It was killed by Ignis and its tooth was made into Inferno. Apocalypse was said to be forged from the tooth of "the fallen one" possibly refering to Garaheth. However Garaheth was actually a demon rather than a god so also myth/folklore stuff
Gemini refers to "the gods of air and thunder" directly creating something, suggesting that they are indeed real and have crafted these leggings.
Venison refers to the Elven god Entia and also suggests that the god(dess) is real. The horn of this god(dess) is also mentioned in the From the Bottom quest where it is in the possession of Yobon "the first fallen" further supporting that Entia is in fact an acutal entity.
The wind fortress was a legendary stronghold that fell into the void. The bracelet Follow the wind contains a small mechanism pointing towards its place of origin. Morrowind is an artifact originating from the wind fortress. It is engraved with the clue "We shall be found among the darks winds of the morrow." This suggests that there are possibly sentient beings in the wind fortress as it says "we" rather than "it".
We know that Giants are a nearly extinct species. The only known specimens that still exist are mama zomble and bigfoot. The Giant's bracer is a makeshift chestplate from the time of the Giants. Giant step is said to be found in a mystically charged "giant ruin". Possibly connected to the Door of Time?
Vaward describes a "once great" hero, possibly meaning they had fallen from grace at one point, although the rest of the lore suggests otherwise. The hero is referred to as "her" and that her courage fuels the wearers. Guardian describes a vow of protection from a legendary heroine and a simple glimpse of the blade will instill a feeling of protection and security. They could possibly be speaking of the same person.
The weapon is said to be intended to be used with a lost suit of armor with only one piece remaining, possibly post ultima.
Ensa's faith reveals that Ensa was in fact a man (didn't know that) and a scholar priest (possibly a bovemist)
Ensa was likely an archer as there is a bow named Ensa's resolve however Ensa's failure suggests that he had possibly failed to protect someone/thing important to him/his religion
Hellstrand is said to have been crafted to directly oppose the House of Talor's holy relic, possibly Ivory, the holy blade crafted from pure unicorn horns and consecrated by 100 priests.
Skien's (possibly) friend had been corrupted and wielded his dagger "Locrian" against him during a great corrupted siege. This is likely what brought him his increasingly paranoid nature, reflected in Skien's paranoia and then eventual madness, represented in Skien's madness
Remikas was the first Gavellian King and was also a powerful warrior as described in Remikas' Authority and Remikas' Righteousness
Tisaun's Valor describes a warrior tasked with fending off a siege with only a thin shirt and rusted spear, possibly Tisaun's proof which says that it resounds with the souls 1000 fallen warriors, possibly those he slew at the siege or his comrades. Tissaun is also mentioned by the prince of Troms and is described as a great mercenary (iirc) Tisaun is also the founder of the legendary and now discontinued Sodeta guild (iirc).
Already enough stuff around about these two im too lazy xd
just did the fallen delivery quest and it said to give a letter to Gawrick, who is reffered to in Warp. He is created a new spell with long range teleportation and "doesnt have any drawbacks", except it makes the user go insane

k well i was bored now im tired kek
might add more later probs not tbh

edit: turns out i added smth (warp)

pretty sure the giant at the end of the thanos vaults is a giant troll and therefore isn't the same species.

Isn't Tisaun also founder of Sodeta guild? I think that's kinda important to the lore.

Entia is mentioned in From The Bottom, where one guy gives you a “horn from the Elven god Entia”.

General Skien didn't leave Troms because of the corruption, but because of the villagers who were traveling to Wynn. He was incredibly paranoid about the villagers and went insane, accusing anyone who trusted them or used their magic of treason (or something like that).

Skein’s Island is very interesting because it’s the only case of corruption hitting an island. I have a suspicion that perhaps it wasn’t the corruption that caused Skein’s madness, but it was Skein’s madness that caused the island to become corrupted. Remember how the decay is caused by the villager’s greed and the opening of the portal was caused by the greed of the emerald miners? Maybe people’s feelings can influence the corruption as well as vice a versa. Maybe this is a job for @SPYROHAWK

Oh general Skein, the source of a lot of my annoyances.

So, the guys on the island are Zombies and Skeletons, right? Skien says they died and rose from the dead. Yet, there's a weird detail. The names never once mention "Zombie" or "Skeleton". It's not Zombie Warrior or Skeleton Archer, always Skien's Warrior or Skein's Archer.

That being said, the effects on Skien himself don't mimic the corruption. He died and came back, and felt like he lost a part of himself. The undead don't attack him but... he still thinks. He still reasons. He's not some mindless undead. The only time we've seen this before is when people physically enter the portal, like Bak'al or the Twain dude or the scientist-wizard that starts with a G. But Skien never entered the portal, so could it be something else that is effecting him?

Well, that brings me to the point of the Traitor's Ghost. Incorporeal Undead in the old Twain lore were always more tied to Darkness than Corruption (in the new lore, this gets changed). So I would argue Darkness, but the color schemes don't match. Furthermore, the Traitor was at Troms, in a fight with the undead.

In conclusion, I don't understand sh*t for the reasons above

No, I appreciate it. To be honest, I actually didn’t know that it has a discovery that said that. Thanks. (Last time I explored Skiens was before the most recent update)

There's also Maelstrom which mentions a entity named Carvel, who is a master sailor or was at one point, and it possibly ties in to the items Carvel's Creation or Carvel's Sight?
Idk I am bad at lore.
Also Maelstrom has the word Mael inside of it. I think I have seen a thread in the past confirming Mael was thunder based. Which is the main damage in Maelstrom? You guessed it right, thunder. In it's lore it even describes it spewing out blasts of thunder. Then it's water oriented which probably comes from it being in a storm in the middle of the ocean near Selchar.
