Seluc From The Canyon Guides

To be fair, while I wouldn't say that the quest is difficult as such, it is annoying when Seluc tries to target mobs, especially in random places, like when I was doing it, he jumped off a bridge at least three times because there was an enemy in the water, tried to drown himself, and jumped off the cliff going up to Bantisu to get at a mob lower down the mountain. Also, when I did it, I kind of assumed the whole thing of him having a short range was that he was short sighted, because iirc he mentions losing his glasses when you first talk to him?

 

> finds a mob under the bridge
> goes to the side of the bridge and spins like crazy
> falls into the water
> does not swim up
> can only be lifted out of the water with Uppercut + War Scream
> loses sight of you once you are 2 blocks away
> forgets that he is following you
> keeps getting harassed by CSST guardians
> made it to Bantisu somehow two hours later

This was my experience. I had no need for health potions because I used Scythe when it was actually an awesome and fun weapon.

 

Then is it possible to idk, make him not attack at all?

by the way, notice how like half the people are defending this quest and half the people are having some complaints. idk, im not a gamemaster or somethin, but shouldn't you do something about this then? also, i think i remember somewhere that wynncraft wasn't supposed to have escort quests?

 

Not without reducing his vision to 0, which also means he wouldn't follow you.

 

the quest was fine for me until today when the server crashed right before I got into the room
