Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Sounds good to me.

 

I approach the cave, nervously peering into the dark

"Elder Reiglynn? Are you in right now?"

 

For a few seconds, you're met by silence.
"...Yes, I am."
A quick breath of fire lights a torch, lighting half of Reiglynn's red scales, though it's possible they just look red due to the flame.

As the moon sets, your soul starts to merge back with your body. As your vision starts to shift back to normal, you can see the mercenaries from outside quickly go back to normal and flee.

"No, good luck to you. I haven't tried to get her a gift in years..."

"I'm sure I could find the time for it at some point." She shrugs. "I'm not terribly busy now, anyways."

 

"Oh. Well, I thank you anyways." Terrae says ending the link.
Terrae is going to open up a portal to a pocket dimension and enter.
OOC: Brb as I try to figure out what Terrae would think of.

 

"Take a joke. You're a wolf, not a human. You can't make snow angels the way we humans do."

 

Aqui decides to try freezing the area around Abigail, trying to slow her down.


The darkness is frozen, but something seems to be pushing back against the time stop, giving Emerald limited time.


The nobody is hit by the ball, the ball exploding as the Nobody falls to the ground, Iris being released and dropped.

This would probably be a good time to deal some damage to the huge Nobody.

 

Obviously, he's left alone.


Meanwhile, Ren (cloaked) takes a walk around the airship docks again, glancing around at the people coming and going.

I bet I can, just... with less movement.

Her powers are amplified to a point that her surroundings are brought down near absolute zero.


She tries seeing how it reacts to light, worried.


Iris leaps at Ihra, the latter flinging her at the Nobody as she comes down upon it hard with a twilight projection of her axe.

 

Abigail is slowed severely, and Aqui tries summoning ice above her to crush her.


The darkness seems to be damaged slightly, but not as much as Emerald might hope.


The Nobody is hurt badly, oddly twisting away before sinking into the ground again.

A mass of black and white thorns erupts from the ground as gravity seems to disable around Iris and Ihra, the thorns quickly snaking toward them.

 

"Try again. Maybe you can make a better one."

 

She winds up summoning an entire iceberg, still not feeling the slightest bit drained.


Emerald tries to pick out the darkness with small bursts of light magic, monitoring the heart.


Ihra glances at you nervously as Iris sends bolts of electricity at each thorn.

You stand up and lay down in the snow, barely moving.
It's... slightly resemblant of a snow angel?

 

"If you have enough imagination, yes."
He chuckles.
"You tried."

 

Urgh, I'll call it close enough for now... I hate the smell of wet fur, anyways.

 

Aqui crushes Abigail with the iceberg, who barely manages to survive it as she retaliates with her chakrams, throwing them directly at Aqui encased in lava.


Emerald can't seem to find the heart to monitor it, and darkness seems to be forming more than Emerald can pick it off.


I seem to be busy dealing with someone in a dark cloak, similar to Abigail's, locked in a sword battle.

The thorns aren't effected, the electricity phasing through. It seems they can only be dodged.

Giant light grey hands phase through the ground, forming fists which try to crush Iris and Ihra.

 

Aqui is cut into three, yet her body reforms around them. She feels no pain and spills not a single drop of blood.
The lava starts to harden, the temperature so far below freezing.


Desperate, she tries overloading Ruby's body with magic, who in turn psyblasts the darkness desperately.


Ihra waits for a hand to get close before releasing a brutal burst of radiant light magic, Iris' eyes glowing as seven elemental projections of her axe begin to circle around her.

 

“By ‘quite the walk’, I mean it might take about a year to find it by walking from the portal that we have open. Not including who you might encounter.”

 

She chuckles.
"I suppose I might have to ask one of the dragons in the goddess' palace, if I ever take that much interest."

 

"Why roll in the snow then?"

 

I smile.
"That probably be in your best interest. I wonder what you'd find there, I haven't been in a good while."

 

Aqui tries summoning a sphere of sharp ice spikes around Abigail, who catches her Chakrams as they fly back to her.


The dark creature uses the psyblast to break the time stop, forming into a huge, black, four-eyed dragon; it's wings sharp with dark tendrils aimlessly floating from it's body; a spined tail large enough to crush and impale anyone around it. The dragon's yellow eyes flare as it quickly charges and breathes dark fire all over Ruby and Emerald.


The hand shakes, before falling back into the ground as a large foot comes up to kick Ihra from below.
