I'll just use my 'strongest' ability.
I throw a Alchemy Acid at the Hound.
DEX save (13+) or 7 acid damage.

 

The hound rolls a 3 + whatever

It fails the save!

The acid splashes over it, and with one final growl, releases the last two nodes, then is dissolved into nothingness

Roll 2 :
Same but with a 8, so 15

Damages 1 : 2
Damages 2 : 6

It ties, which passes.

Gonna be honest, I'm surprised the nodes succeed at anything.

Attack Roll 1: 2 + 6 = 8
Attack Roll 2: 12 + 6 = 18

Damage Roll 2: 4 + 3 = 7

Does Attack 1 hit?
