Archer/Hunter New Build Guide For Freedom! Version 1.2

INTRODUCTION:
After the recent freedom buffs, I have seen a lot of people trying to get their hands on one of these bows. Not that Freedom is overpowered, but it is a solid, consistent, and extremely fun to use bow. This thread will show you what builds to use with freedom and how to use it for optimal results. All conclusions drawn below have been tested thoroughly and all information presented has been filtered through many, many tests. I would like to thank @dukioooo as I used wynndata.tk in the development of this build. I would also like to thank @motoki1 for all of his work on damage calculations and also for getting me interested in freedom in the first place!

Also yep, this build requires level 100. And yeah it's a bit expensive since it does use Freedom.


SOME BASIC STATS OF THE BUILD:

Maximum Damage Possible: 44,400
(High roll arrow storm crit)
Max Mana Regen: 12/4
(You want to get as close to this as possible)
Health: 13,480

And yes obviously our weapon is Freedom, my personal favorite bow in the game.


HELMET: Ok so, lets start off with the helmet, because this one is very interesting. If possible, the preferred helmet will be Anima Infused Helmet. WARNING: if you only have 1 master hive voucher, do not spend it on the helmet, because our chestplate will require this voucher. So, lets explain this choice. Anima has some really nice stats that we will be utilizing. Firstly, the massive health boosts and elemental defenses are perfect for the build, because as an archer you will want this defense. In addition, the 25% spell damage is critical, along with the other damage boosts we are receiving.

But what if I dont have 2 hive vouchers? Well, I recommend using Shimmersight. And yes, I considered Morph-Stardust. Stardust will get you some extra health and defenses, but the 2/4 mana in my opinion is more worth it since we have enough of that through the rest of the armor.


CHESTPLATE: Boreal Patterned Aegis. Enough said.

Alright I will explain why we need this chestplate, along with the replacement chestplate. Basically, this chestplate boosts our damage, increases our health and defenses massively, gives us walk speed, and 2/4 mana regen all in one. If you can't get your hands on 1 master voucher, however, I recommend using Libra.

LEGGINGS: Vaward. Here is why:

WARNING: Before buying this item, read the skill points section down below!
Ok so, unfortunately this is going to be where a lot of the budget goes for this build. It is a really strong pair of pants that gives us nice health, and some damage. Also provides critical skill points. I can't really find a replacement that is nearly as practical in our case.

BOOTS: For the boots, you are going to want to get yourself a pair of Capricorn. They are great for walk speed, mana regen, and some more spell damage.


ACCESSORIES:

Ring 1: Prism
Prism is mainly used in this build for its defense boosts and skill points. Unless you are trading in other items, do not swap out prism. If you do want to swap it out, make sure to use Gigabyte.

Ring 2: Suppression
Suppression is the good old mana regen ring. Luckily, one of my suppressions has maintained its 3/4 status even after the rounding changes. The -mana steal and -life steal do not really affect us since our build is basically spell spam.

Bracelet: Diamond Fusion Bracelet
This bracelet is very new to the build, but it really helps out our elemental defense. This item is 100% replaceable, so feel free to replace it with an item of your choice, as long as it doesn't subtract skill points. Some recommendations are: Megabyte, Knucklebones, and if you have a spare voucher and really want to you can use Prowess.

Necklace: Royal Stormy Amulet
This is just here for the extra 1/4 mana regen. You can change it, but make sure to take into account the 3 intelligence you are giving up! If you don't to have to worry about skill points, try out Gigabyte. It will give you some all around boosts, but you are loosing -512 health and 1/4 mana regen. Diamond Fusion Necklace is also a good option, but take into account the required skill points. You will have to adjust the order you put things on to get this to work (you may need to invest 3 skill points earlier in intelligence, but then use the skill points from diamond fusion to help out the other elements).



SKILL POINTS:

Alright, here is where it gets tricky. Here are a few first things to note:
- ***If you are using Shimmersight, Morph-Stardust, or Libra you are in a considerably better condition with skill points and do not really have to worry about any of the bullets below. Just make sure you meet the requirements.

- ***If you change the accessories, I cannot guarantee you that the skill points will be possible. If you are doubtful, plug them into the wynndata page or just use Gigabyte for extra skill points.

- ***REACHING 68 INTELLIGENCE IS CRUCIAL. <------ DID I MENTION CRUCIAL? Make sure that this happens. If your Capricorn has 3+ intelligence, you are fine, so just make sure it is not minimum intel.

Skill Point Requirements:



- Ouch! 240 Skill points! Here is the problem described. You need to be careful when purchasing your armors and acessories, and here is why:

- You only have 18 spare skill points with maximum stats on all items
- Luckily, only 2 items are going to affect the skill point requirements, and those are Vaward and Prism.

- This means that all of the skill point bonuses on both vaward and prism combined must be under or equal to a total of 18 skill points off max.


Some other Important Things to Note:

- With maximum stats, here are the raw skill points you need to assign (you obviously will need to adjust based on the ids on your items.
- Also put on your items in this order (make sure you meet all requirements based on your ids on vaward and prism!)

Ring 1=Prism and Ring 2=Suppression

Impressive, I haven’t seen a decent build since the update. I don’t have any recommendations for substitutes.

Go for it if you like, it is probably as good as diamond fusion. The other good replacement for the bracelet would be knucklebones probably (its spell spam)

 

Sadly, Freedom is useless for tank fighting. I usually carry ignis as backup.

 

Not all of us are rich enough to carry around Freedom and Ignis xD. Really only not tanky thing about this build is the 40 defense skill points

suppressions will be more useful and easier skill point wise (+4/4 mr I believe, and we dont care about the steals). You could then go on to use prowess, diamond fusion, knucklebones, or megabyte for the bracelet
