"She must be stupidly powerful, then. I'd never want to meet her..."


"Then he'd keep me in my room again, and he probably wouldn't let me out for the holidays like he does now."

 

"She's like a mother to all of us, because she sort of is. The reason I'm here can be traced back to Gaia, and she loves all her children." Katie says happily.


"Eh, we'll grant you some more freedom once we kill him." Shadow Stephanie says.

I elbow Shadow Stephanie, giving her an annoyed look.

"What? We're not going to do some cliche move where we take all his powers away, and then when he's weak and vulnerable, we offer out a hand and let him redeem himself because there's some good left in him. If you kill someone and apologise, that doesn't bring that person back to life. They're still dead, and you're still a murderer." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"That's... kind of scary." Spring shudders.


Petunia sighs.
"Oh, it's alright... I'm just having problems with accepting that my family's going to be killed, and that in some ways I've been helping them."

 

"How?" Katie asks.


"You have other family members that are mind controlling everyone?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"It'd suck hard to be punished."


"No, everyone else died. You know, typical child-scarred-for-life story... I'm sure you've heard them all by now."

 

"Oh, yeah. You go to hell where you're tortured infinitely." Katie says.


"Caused a few." Shadow Stephanie shrugs.

"Was your father the cause of their deaths?" I ask.

 

"Oh... yeah, please let me know if your Gaia is near so I can get the hell away."
Pause.
"By the way, I'm supposed to stick with you for about until we die."


"No, he had nothing to do with them."

 

"Oh...do you want to?" Katie asks.


"So who killed your family, if you don't mind me asking?" Tirra pipes up.

 

I smile and nod.
“Well, I’ll be off. See you around.”
I start walking away.

 

"Well, I didn't wait a month and a half in a box for nothing!"


"I dunno. Dad won't tell me."

He watches you leave, staying silent.

 

Katie smiles.


Tirra just goes quiet again.

 

I head over to Akli’il territory, looking around.

 

Spring smiles back.
"On that note, happy holidays."


Petunia seems to let nerves set in during the silence before Ali approaches the group.
"Hey, it's ready!" She calls.

Same dens, same den that you presume to house Akli'il. The only difference is that there's more active raptors milling about.

 

I check if anyone’s inside the den before looking around to see if any of the raptors are Akli’il.

 

"Happy holidays!" Katie responds happily.


"I guess we'll see you in another few months." I say as the group turns to follow Ali.

 

"Oh.. that's good."
He comes out of his hiding spot.

 

Terrae waits for the rest to enter before giving his instructions.

"All of you are to begin preparing your troops. We are going to start a new campaign in a week."

 

"My true goddess? I can't say that I've had. Who is she?"

I hold on to Solis tighter

 

"I'm not a succubus."

 

You can hear whispering from the den, Fuela's body sticking out with only her head inside.

"You're a demon nonetheless, and I doubt you'd suddenly care about us."

"Her name is Idhaenna, the high goddess of the winds and the guide for all spirits. Phykrah is one of four realms in her domain."

They all salute.
"If you don't mind me asking, who are we marching against?"

You can see Lucy perched above on a stalagmite.

Anne wanders around the cave a bit, looking for anyone else.

Spring starts moving the bubble with the rest of the group.
